Don’t Believe the Establishment GOP on Amnesty

Boehner, McCarthy, Cantor
To hear establishment Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner and his “leadership” team of Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, and Budget Chairman Paul Ryan tell it the fight over amnesty for illegal aliens is over.

Nothing’s going to happen this year, so those of us who believe in the rule of law and American exceptionalism should fold our tents and go home… at least until after the 2014 Republican primaries.

And that’s exactly the plan – take the heat off squishy House Republicans until the 2014 GOP primaries are over and then renew the push for “legal status” and hope voters will forget who betrayed them by 2016.

Paul Ryan’s comments during his latest round of the Sunday talk shows was the latest “tell” on where the establishment GOP is taking this: "Security first, no amnesty, then we might be able to get somewhere," Ryan said on ABC's "This Week."

Security first? What’s second?

What’s second is the Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Ryan version of amnesty.

Republicans in the House who support the "leadership" plan have gone to great lengths to push back on the idea that granting legal status would be amnesty. But Senator Ted Cruz, among others, has effectively knocked down that fiction.

“I think it would be a mistake if House Republicans were to support amnesty for those here illegally,” he said when asked about the proposal outlined in the House GOP “leadership” immigration principles.

Cruz later told our friends at Breitbart: “Right now, Republican leadership in both chambers is aggressively urging members to stand down on virtually every front: on the continuing resolution, on the budget, on the farm bill, on the debt ceiling,” Cruz told Breitbart. “Republicans are poised for an historic election this fall — a conservative tidal wave much like 2010. The biggest thing we could do to mess that up would be if the House passed an amnesty bill — or any bill perceived as an amnesty bill — that demoralized voters going into November. Rather than responding to the big-money lobbying on K Street, we need to make sure working-class Americans show up by the millions to reject Obamacare and vote out the Democrats. Amnesty will ensure they stay home.”

Cruz has it exactly right. Granting “legal status” to those who came here illegally is amnesty. It doesn’t matter what you call it, when you legislatively absolve millions of law breakers of their crimes, that’s amnesty and that’s the pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens and the pathway to irrelevance for the Republican Party.

Nobody cornered John Boehner,

Nobody cornered John Boehner, Boehner is told what to do and this time they over reached. Somehow, they jumped the gun. So, now they will wait until after they are re-elected and their seats are safe and then they will bring up the issue again. From the Neocon Globalists Bill Kristol at Commentary to the Globalists at National Review and Townhall.com's favorite Neocon Globalist Hugh Hewitt all recommend that Boehner stand down and wait until after the next election so they will be in a stonger position. Then they can screw Americans Workers even more and give them the finger after its all done and over with.

Its very simple, Corporate America does not want to have to compete in the market place with "Free Enterprise" instead we now have Crony Capitalism with Giant Corporations living off of Corporate Welfare and pushing our congress to pass immigration so they will have cheap labor to do the work. All they care about is the money. Whatever safety nets or welfare or Obamacare there is will be picked up by the American Taxpayers. The Corporations want to have their cake and eat it too.
Its all about them now. We used to have a tax on imports that helped save the federal government from ever going in the red but they did away with that for the Corporations too.

We need to stop the Corporate Welfare. Nafta, TPP, Farm Bill, WTO are all Corporate Welfare projects. Our Congress doesnt do a damn thing for the American worker except provide lip service. They do everything for Corporate America.
Everything our legislators do is CORPORATE WELFARE and that includes when Bush gave out Billions of dollars to Wall Street with the crash of the housing market and then they have the nerve to complain because they might need to extend EMPLOYMENT INSURANCE to a lot of workers who have lost their jobs or have been displaced by the offshoring of American workers.

"The trouble is the oligarchs own the country. The answer is of course to just build our own economy. It's never going to happen. The oligarchs own both parties. They want to kill the middle class. Their NWO order vision of the world is super rich and serfs. Conservatives end up being useful pawns. Corporate welfare is never ending. Fed/bankers created the housing bubble and tax payers had to bail them out. Iraq/Afghanistan is corporate welfare. Read a book on Blackwater. Beware "privatization". Instead of the corps getting their money through the military. They'll get money directly without ANY responsibility. No benefits to their "soldiers". No accountability. I'm a conservative. I'm sick of the corporate handouts. Nafta corp welfare, TPP will be the same. Obamacare is corp welfare. We get rationed healthcare and the ins co set the rates/benefits. Gov is owned by the oligarchs. NOTHING is done to benefit the people. NOTHING. Obamacare is for the ins co. Latest "farm bill" is corp welfare. Not for small farmers, for corp farmers. GM paid no taxes? Corp welfare. I'm conservative and I am sorry but I am for extending unemployment benefits. Cut all corporate welfare.

I don't expect it will ever happen. I like to say everything is moving inexorably towards a conclusion that has already been predicted. There will be one world gov. They will get their NWO. That's the real reason our border will never be closed. North American Union. Regionalism as the way to one world gov.

“Before such a merger can be consummated, and the US
becomes just another province in a New World Order, there must at least be the semblance of parity among the senior partners in the deal. How does one make the nations of the world more nearly equal? The insiders determined that a two-prong approach was needed; use American money and know-how to build up your competitors, while at the same time use every devious strategy you can devise to weaken and impoverish this country. The goal is not to bankrupt the US...Rather, it is to reduce our productive might, and therefore our standard of living, to the meager subsistence level of the socialized nations of the world.

Notice that the plan is not to bring the standard of living in less developed countries up to our level, but to bring ours down
to meet theirs coming up. You may be assured, however, that the
Rockefellers and their allies are not talking about reducing their OWN quality of life. It is your standard of living which must be sacrificed on the altar of the New world Order. Gary Allen

We are likely to do better by building our “house of world order” from the bottom up rather then from the top down… an end run around national sovereignty eroding it piece by piece, is likely to get us to world order faster than the old-fashioned frontal assault. Richard Gardner CFR"
