Elitist Democrat Talks Amnesty In Florida’s District 13 Special Election

Alex Sink

It appears that Democratic congressional candidate Alex Sink has finally revealed why liberals really want amnesty for illegal aliens, and it is not as we suspected because they want to import more Democratic voters or that they are the inheritors of the “hate America” liberals of the 1960s.

It turns out that Democrats want amnesty because there will be a shortage of maids and groundskeepers without a steady stream of illegal aliens entering America.

Florida Democratic congressional candidate Alex Sink said immigration reform was important at a Tuesday debate because, report our friends at The Washington Free Beacon, without it, it would be difficult for employers to find people to clean hotel rooms and do landscaping.

“Immigration reform is important in our country,” she said. “We have a lot of employers over on the beaches that rely upon workers and especially in this high-growth environment, where are you going to get people to work to clean our hotel rooms or do our landscaping? We don’t need to put those employers in a position of hiring undocumented and illegal workers.”

Evidently, without this reform, these blue-collar jobs will fall into the hands of illegal aliens. So, carrying Sink’s point to its logical conclusion, if the answer to illegal immigration is to legalize the illegal alien then the answer to bank robbery is to legalize theft, which in a sense is what illegal aliens do to American workers by suppressing wages.

The reality of the American economy today is that the unemployment rate  is something like 13.1 percent when you count the total unemployed, plus all marginally attached workers plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of all civilian labor force plus all marginally attached workers (the BLS U-6).

What’s the answer proposed by Alex Sink and her Democratic supporters to the problem of getting all these American workers back into the workforce?

Amnesty and the unlimited immigration it will engender.

We don’t know Republican congressional candidate David Jolly’s campaign team well enough to call them up and offer them the experience of our 300+ political campaigns, but it seems to us that if Jolly wants to win this race, and right now it is neck and neck with Sink possibly ahead, he ought to pound Sink’s elitism and her complete disregard for the economic wellbeing and quality of life for America’s workers every minute of every day from now until every voter has voted and the polls close on March 11.
