Republicans Could Stop Obama From Sending Illegal Aliens To Your Community

Illegals Flipping Off America

Republicans in Congress act like there’s nothing they can do to stem the invasion of our southern border and President Obama’s illegal dispersal of the invaders into a neighborhood near you.

But we all know that is not the case.

Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution says, “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.”

As our friends at the Heritage Foundation remind us, in The Federalist No. 58, James Madison described the centrality of the power of the purse's role in the growth of representative government and its particular importance in the Constitution's governmental structure:

The House of Representatives cannot only refuse, but they alone can propose the supplies requisite for the support of the government. They, in a word, hold the purse—that powerful instrument by which we behold, in the history of the British Constitution, an infant and humble representation of the people gradually enlarging the sphere of its activity and importance, and finally reducing, as far as it seems to have wished, all the overgrown prerogatives of the other branches of government. This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect every just and salutary measure.

Grassroots limited government constitutional conservatives really don’t want much from the GOP’s Capitol Hill establishment in the fight to preserve American sovereignty and defend our southern border.

All we want (really) is for Republicans to fulfill the constitutional role the Framers envisioned for Congress – especially the House – to act as a check on a law breaking President through the power of the purse.

Without organized pushback from the Republican Party Obama’s policy of open borders is going to stand and with it de facto amnesty for all of the illegal aliens he is releasing and transporting into the interior of the county.

But the list of those Capitol Hill Republicans, especially in the ranks of the House and Senate leadership, who understand their proper constitutional role, is pretty thin.

The House can and should use the power of the purse to stop the release and the transportation of illegal aliens to your community, but until We the People rise up and demand it House leaders are unlikely to act.

Please stand with us TODAY and sign our petition to demand that the House act to defend American sovereignty by prohibiting Obama from spending any money on transporting illegal aliens to the interior of the United States – the future of American exceptionalism is in your hands.
