Will Paul Ryan’s Arrogance and Lies Defeat Him?

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is on the ropes in the Republican Primary in Wisconsin’s First Congressional District in the face of a strong challenge by businessman and entrepreneur Paul Nehlen.

Whether Ryan is defeated is not so much a measure of Nehlen’s prowess as a campaigner – although he’s mounted a great campaign – it is more a measure of how tolerant of Ryan’s arrogance and lies the good people of Wisconsin 1 prove to be.

Paul RyanAfter Nehlen attacked Ryan for his open borders policies the Speaker dumped thousands of mailers into the District which were at best deceptive and in our judgement demonstrably false because they implied that Ryan has supported restricting immigration, when the truth is quite the opposite.

But don’t take our word for it, take the word of the parents of children killed by illegal aliens.

Back in June, just before Father’s Day, Breitbart’s Julia Hahn reported that fathers whose sons were murdered by illegal aliens were calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to resign — describing his policies as “treasonous” and taking particular objection to Ryan’s attempts to undermine Donald Trump’s proposals to enforce U.S. immigration law.

“I would invite Speaker Ryan to forsake spending Father’s Day with his kids to come down here to Houston and visit the place I will spend every Father’s Day for the rest of my life— my American son’s grave. This way Speaker Ryan can see firsthand what pandering to the cheap illegal labor lobby means to Americans who can’t afford to put a security fence up around their house,” said Dan Golvach.

Golvach’s 25-year-old son, Spencer, reported Hahn, was murdered by an illegal alien. Spencer was shot in the head while stopped at a red light.

Or you can listen to Paul Ryan’s own words, when he echoed Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and said in the wake of yet another Islamist terror attack that restricting Muslim immigration was “unconstitutional” and “not who we are.”

The notion that aliens outside the United States have any constitutional rights is demonstrably false and has been knocked down by us in our article “We Can – And Should – Ban Most Muslim Immigration To America” and rebutted by our friend former assistant U.S. Attorney and Muslim terrorist prosecutor Andy McCarthy in several articles, most recently in National Review’s “No, the Constitution Does Not Bar ‘Religious Tests’ in Immigration Law.”

But this didn’t keep Ryan from funding the importation – at taxpayer expense – of another 300,000 “refugees” from terrorist hotspots.

Speaker Ryan rebuffed conservative demands to defund the refugee program in the must-pass Omnibus.

Instead, Ryan’s cynical ploy to keep funds flowing to the Syrian refugee threat was reminiscent of the ploy used by his mentor, former Speaker John Boehner, to keep the funds flowing to Obama’s “executive amnesty” for illegal aliens program.

In each case a “show vote” on a standalone bill that would fix the problem was promised to divert conservatives from trying to force Republican leaders to include a defund provision in the must-pass year-end Omnibus.

And in each case the legislation duly passed the House only to predictably fall apart in the Senate when Democrats united to defend Obama’s dangerous immigration policies.

Since Paul Ryan refused to include in the Omnibus language restricting taxpayer funding for settling refugees from Muslim terrorist hotspots, at least two “refugees” have been indicted for planning terror attacks against Americans, in America, and others have been arrested for various crimes, including sexual assault of a minor.

Paul Ryan’s arrogance and hypocrisy were on full display in his decision to protect his home and his family with a personal border fence, while indicating that he has no intention of bringing up legislation to fund similar protections for the American people. Ryan has previously explained that he believes America “is more than our borders.”

Our great and inspirational friend Phyllis Schlafly said that politicians like Paul Ryan—and billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg—who advocate for open borders so long as the policy does not extend to their fenced estates are “a big bunch of hypocrites.”

But Paul Ryan’s moment of supreme arrogance came when he presented Obama’s signature Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal to the House Rules Committee.

Channeling Nancy Pelosi’s remarks about Obamacare Ryan snarled, “It’s declassified and made public once it’s agreed to,” as he tried to sell Obama’s Trade Promotion Authority and Trans-Pacific Partnership treaties to skeptical conservatives.

First Lady of the Conservative Movement Phyllis Schlafly summed-up the case against Paul Ryan this way, “There are a lot of wealthy people who would like globalism, who would like us to be in some kind of global community, and who want getting along with foreign countries to be their major goal. And I don’t think so. I think what the American people want and need should be our greatest goal.”

In his arrogant dismissal of conservative populist concerns about Obama’s secret trade deal, in his outright lies about its provisions, and especially in his angry advocacy of establishment Republican corporatism that would continue the destruction of the aspirations of America’s working families, blindly hand President Obama the power to deal away American sovereignty and bypass Congress on a host issues from expanding immigration to “climate change,” we think, after 18-years, Paul Ryan has disqualified himself from representing the people of Wisconsin Congressional District 1.

The Wisconsin Republican primary election is August 9, less than a week from today. We urge limited government constitutional conservatives and all other voters in Wisconsin Congressional District 1 who want a Congressman who represents the interests of American workers and their families to go to the polls on August 9 and vote for Paul Nehlen to replace Paul Ryan as their Representative in Congress.

PAUL RYON

I think Mr. Ryan is a disgrace to the party. He needs to get off his High Horse and support our candidate. If he could see the forest behind the trees, he would understand that the bottom line is to keep Clinton out of office.

Hopefully he will open his eyes!

Ryan's betrayal

I never was disappointed in Paul Ryan's policies, He comes from the most liberal N/W state in the union, performed as I expected.

I am supporting his challenger, a conservative business man Nelan

Vote Paul Ryan Out!

Paul has done nothing but lie and support democrats since he took office. I, along with the many people that supported him, have been very disappointed in the outcome. We voted him in as a conservative Republican but every time something important comes up that he should vote against he stands on the Democratic side. Maybe he should change his party. We need to get him out of office and put someone in there that is truthful and agrees with the conservative Republican party. I am sick and tired of lying, devious politicians.

Not fit

Ryan is not fit to hold that office or any other until he starts representing AMERICAN CITIZENS, not illegals and/or foreigners. Illegals/Foreigners have no rights to our Country or our Constitution! Wisconsin, please vote Ryan OUT!!! Vote NEHLEN 2016
