One Of The Most Important Speeches Of The 21st Century

Yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu delivered one of the most important speeches of the 21st century. Netanyahu’s remarks were important not for their eloquence – indeed great rhetorical flourishes were almost entirely lacking in the Prime Minister’s remarks. (We urge you to watch the presentation in its entirety, it is well worth the few minutes it takes.)

What made Netanyahu’s remarks so important were the facts that he revealed, and the incontrovertible proof he provided, that Iran has a secret nuclear weapons program that it has been hiding for years from the Netanyahu speechinternational community in its secret atomic archive and research facilities.

“We’ve known for years that Iran had a secret nuclear weapons program called Project Amad,” said Netanyahu. “We can now prove that Project Amad was a comprehensive program to design, build and test nuclear weapons. We can also prove that Iran is secretly storing Project Amad material to use at a time of its choice to develop nuclear weapons.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu went on to explain, here’s what Project Amad’s explicit goal was: creating nuclear weapons.

Netanyahu then showed an original Iranian presentation from the files, and the mission statement: Design, produce and test five warheads, each with ten kiloton TNT yield for integration on a missile.

You don’t need to read Farsi to read 10 kilotons here, said the Prime Minister. This is the specific goal of Project Amad. “That’s like five Hiroshima bombs to be put on ballistic missiles,” noted Netanyahu.

Prime Minister Netanyahu then explained and provided the documentation for each of the goals and objectives of Project Amad:

The first element is designing nuclear weapons. This is an original Iranian illustration of a weapon. Again, you don’t have to read Farsi to understand this. This is U235—that’s enriched uranium, right here at the core. That’s the only place where you find in the core enriched uranium. And here’s an Iranian simulation, original Iranian simulation putting all these components together. That’s the first component.

Second component – developing nuclear cores. Here’s a photo showing the casting process and a cast metal core, from the archives. And here’s a secret underground facility the Iranians were building to produce nuclear cores. We have hundreds of documents for each of these components.

Third component – building nuclear implosion systems. This is an original Iranian photo of a measuring device for implosions. And here’s a simulation of a nuclear implosion.

Fourth element – preparing nuclear tests. Here’s a map of five potential locations for a nuclear test in eastern Iran, One, two, three, four, five.

We have many, many more such documents, said Netanyahu.

And fifth – integrating nuclear weapons on missiles. Here’s a design for a nuclear payload on a Shahab3 missile, from the archive. Here’s the warhead, here’s the bomb. And I don’t have to remind you, I think, that Iran is continually expanding the range of its ballistic missiles, its nuclear-capable missiles. They started with 1,000 kilometers, they’re now up to 2,000, roughly. They can reach Riyadh, Tel Aviv, Moscow, but they’re working on far, far greater ranges. They’re planning much longer-range missiles to carry nuclear weapons.

These files conclusively prove that Iran is brazenly lying when it says it never had a nuclear weapons program stated Netanyahu.

Following the Gulf War Iran was faced with mounting pressure, so it was forced to shelve Project Amad. But it didn’t shelve its nuclear ambitions, said Prime Minister Netanyahu.

So, Iran devised a plan to do two things, charged Netanyahu. First, to preserve the nuclear know-how from Project Amad, and second, to further develop its nuclear weapons related capabilities. That plan came directly from Iran’s top leadership the documents prove.

Obama’s nuclear deal gives Iran a clear pass and path to an atomic arsenal, concluded Prime Minister Netanyahu. It does so because it gives them the three components that are necessary to produce this arsenal:

First, unlimited enrichment in a few years. And they plan to do that. They plan to have several hundred thousand advanced centrifuges with which they can enrich mountains of uranium for that core that Netanyahu showed in the presentation. For many, many such cores.

Second, it completely fails to address Iran’s continued development of ballistic missiles.

Third, and this is new, it completely fails to address Iran’s secret nuclear bomb program and its advanced work on weaponization.

In our article “Even UN Says Iran Not Complying With Obama Nuclear Weapons Deal,” we explained that the deal Obama made with the Islamic Republic of Iran lacks a specific inspection mechanism in the provision that prohibits the mullahs from pursuing nuclear weapons research, and this lack of an inspection mechanism is what has allowed Iran to continue its nuclear weapons program.

In a stunning example of why Obama’s nuclear weapons deal was tantamount to treason against the United States, unlike many other parts of the deal, the provision, known as Section T, makes no mention of International Atomic Energy Agency inspection or any specifics of how it will be verified.

Section T bans "activities which could contribute to the development of a nuclear explosive device". It lists examples such as using computer models that simulate a nuclear bomb, or designing multi-point, explosive detonation systems.

Just in case that wasn’t clear – what the deal says is there’s no specific verification procedure of the section of the treaty that actually prohibits Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not been able to verify Iran is implementing Section T because the relevant activities would be occurring on military sites and Iran has barred the IAEA from inspecting those sites.

As we explained in our articles, Conservative National Security Experts Urge President Trump to Withdraw From Obama's Nuclear Deal With IranPresident Trump’s UN Speech vs. Action On Iran And North Korea and If North Korea Has Miniature Nukes, So Does Iran,  the inevitable result of continuing to falsely certify that Iran is in compliance with the nuclear weapons deal, and allowing their continued nuclear weapons and missile development cooperation, is an anti-American world dominated by two nuclear-armed rogue states; North Korea and Iran.

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s presentation proves the ayatollahs are using Obama’s handiwork to legitimize their terrorist state, facilitate (and conceal) their continuing nuclear-weapons and ballistic-missile programs, and acquire valuable resources from gullible negotiating partners.

As we have explained on numerous occasions Iran has declared war on America and the West, so whether we wish it, or not, we are in a war with the Islamic Republic.

We urge our CHQ readers and friends to contact the White House through this link. Tell President Trump that he must not bow to pressure to falsely certify that Iran is in compliance with the Obama nuclear weapons deal and that it is time to withdraw from Obama’s disastrous nuclear weapons deal with Iran completely and prepare every available option to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

I believe President Trump is fully aware of the current situation. I believe he will make the correct decision
