Religious persecution
We here at CHQ would like to extend our personal invitation to you, your family, friends, fellow church members and other contacts to join one of the Wednesday, July 10, religious freedom rallies sponsored by Save the Persecuted Christians, Nations in Action, and others.*

The rallies will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Eastern Time in fifteen cities around the country: Cleveland, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Los Angeles, California; Miami, Florida; New York, New York; Phoenix, Arizona; Tampa, Florida; Tysons, Virginia; Washington, DC; West Palm Beach, Florida.

Why Rally?

Around the globe, millions of individuals are being persecuted simply because of their faith. They are being tortured, enslaved, raped, crucified, driven from their homes, and murdered in the most horrific ways imaginable. The majority of the persecuted are children with girls and women being among those most violated.

The crisis of persecution is particularly acute for Christians. reports that more Christians died for their faith in the last century than through all the years since Jesus’ day combined.

Unfortunately, the mass persecution of Christians is increasingly characterizing our time, as well.

In fact, the Center for the Study of Global Christianity estimates that between 2005 and 2015, 900,000 Christians were martyred.

The Christian population of Iraq alone has plunged from 1.5 million in 2003 to 275,000.

Experts believe that number could soon go to zero. According to the Center for Studies on New Religions, in the past two years, Christians were the most persecuted group in the world. Despite the best efforts of many faith leaders and organizations in the West, the rapes, church burnings, crucifixions, enslavement and murders of Christians continues in the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere.

This must stop.

This crisis, which is nearing genocidal proportions, is being widely ignored and has been allowed to continue unchecked. By rallying on Wednesday, July 10 we say NO MORE! It’s time to call out the persecutors—and their enablers—hold them accountable and secure significant penalties on state and non-state offenders.
