What Democrats Really Mean When They Attack ‘White Nationalism’

Cory Booker
The recent mass killings in El Paso and Dayton have prompted Democrats, particularly those running for President who find themselves on the cusp of getting dumped from the next debate lineup, to call President Trump a “white nationalist” and to demand that he denounce “white nationalism” in all its various forms and permutations.

This could be ignored if it were merely the ranting of D list politicians like Beto O’Rourke desperately striving for the airtime they need to stay on the Democrat debate stage, but some of our friends who should know better have taken up the cry.

Our friends at The Washington Examiner recently admonished President Trump in an editorial that read in part:

You could call the killer who shot up a Walmart in El Paso evil, a madman, or a lone wolf, if you like. But it would be an intolerable omission if we did not also call him a white nationalist terrorist. This ideology is a growing sickness in America, and President Trump has a duty to thoroughly and roundly denounce it.

And if Democrats and their “progressive” allies in the media were talking about Neo-Nazis, Klansmen, skinheads and the like when they refer to “white nationalists” we would heartily agree with our friends at The Washington Examiner that such individuals and groups should be condemned as un-American and non-conservative.

Moreover, when one delves into the background of today’s allegedly conservative “white nationalist” racists, one most often finds not a follower or member of any conservative organization, but a Democrat in the person of white nationalist Richard B. Spencer or a former Far Left Occupy Wall Street activist in the person of Jason Kessler, the organizer of the so-called Unite the Right rally turned riot in Charlottesville, Virginia, or an admirer of Elizabeth Warren in the person of Dayton mass murderer Connor Betts.

But that is not who and what the Left is talking about when they decry “white nationalism.”

Words have ideological meaning outside their everyday meaning and to the progressive Left “white” doesn’t mean a person of Caucasian racial heritage – “white” in radical construction means anyone of any race, creed, nationality, color, sex, or sexual preference who embraces Judeo-Christian values and beliefs, which to the radical Left are irredeemably evil and anyone who aligns with them is “white” in spirit and thus equally guilty of “white crimes.”

George Soros has put tens of millions, if not billions, into the Black Lives Matter movement and other shadowy radical Leftist organizations for one purpose and one purpose only – to destroy the “white” American core of capitalism, free markets, limited government and American traditional culture and values.

And that’s what the progressive Left means and is attacking when they decry “white nationalism” and demand that President Trump and his conservative allies denounce it.

The foundational figures of the modern American Left are all Marxists: Saul Alinsky, Richard Cloward, Frances Fox Piven and their fellow travelers have long concerned themselves with generating race hate in order to acquire state power and impose their will upon their fellow citizens.

The goal of these radical Marxists, who inspired many if not most of today’s Democratic Party leaders, was not to protect personal freedom, but to collapse the constitutional order, and charges of racism are key elements of that project.

As Dr. Brian Joondeph, explained in an article for The American Thinker, the objective of Cloward and Piven was chaos, turmoil and crisis, not constitutional order. By crisis, they mean, “A publicly visible disruption in some institutional sphere.” How do they create such a crisis? “Crisis can occur spontaneously (e.g., riots) or as the intended result of tactics of demonstration and protest which either generate institutional disruption or bring unrecognized disruption to public attention.”

In other words, in contrast to the colorblind ordered liberty under God’s laws advocated by the modern conservative movement, what the modern Left does is community organize protests, riots, and generalized chaos, much of it based on specious charges of racism.

The racist Left carries this narrative to unprecedented heights, observed our friend Jim Simpson in his must-read article “Reds Exploiting Blacks: The Roots of Black Lives Matter.” So, we see Leftists claiming that only whites can be racists. And while justifying violence to achieve “social justice,” the movement’s goal is to overthrow our constitutional society to replace it with a Marxist one.

Beto O’Rourke, Sen. Cory Booker and others who constantly accuse Donald Trump of being a racist are promoting a slander with no basis in fact, and it also conveniently deflects inquiry into which side really needs to appeal to racism to succeed, the Right or the Left?

Knowing what we know about the racist record of the Democratic Party and the modern Left’s foundational plans to fan racial hatred in order to accomplish the “fundamental transformation of America” the answer is obvious, it is the Democratic Party and its allies in the radical Left.

So the next time the Left demands that President Trump or other Republican politicians denounce “white nationalism” remember, in their ideological language they are not talking about skinheads, Neo-Nazis, Klansmen and the like, they are talking about the American societal core of capitalism, free markets, limited government and American traditional culture and values.
