Conservatives Launch Impeachment Ads In Four Democratic House Districts

Club for Growth Impeachment
Club for Growth Action has launched digital advertisements in four key Congressional Districts. The ads will run in CA-45 (Katie Porter), IL-14 (Lauren Underwood), NM-02 (Xochitl Torres Small), and VA-07 (Abigail Spanberger) and ask voters to contact their Representatives in the U.S. House to stop supporting the phony impeachment process and instead start solving problems. The four districts all have freshman Democratic representatives who flipped seats previously held by Republicans in 2018.

“Democrats know they can’t win in 2020 with a socialist agenda so instead of winning at the ballot box, they are throwing a Hail Mary with the impeachment process,” said Club for Growth Action President David McIntosh. “Representatives Katie Porter, Xochitl Torres Small, Abigail Spanberger, and Lauren Underwood were elected promising moderation and independence, and voters deserve better than their toxic and reflexive allegiance to the Democrat’s Socialist agenda.”

This summer, Club for Growth released an analysis of the voting records of newly elected Democrat members of the House of Representatives in districts that were previously held by Republicans. Rep. Katie Porter (CA-45) has voted with Speaker Nancy Pelosi 100%, Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02) has voted with Speaker Nancy Pelosi 92.86% of the time, Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07) has voted with Speaker Nancy Pelosi 92.86% of the time, and Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14) has voted with Speaker Nancy Pelosi 100% of the time.

Rep. Katie Porter (CA-45) has been called the next Elizabeth Warren. Porter became the first member of the Democrats’ large “red-to-blue” class that flipped control of the House of Representatives from Republican control in the 2018 midterm elections. In discussing the impeachment of President Trump Porter said, “whether we do it through an impeachment investigation or articles of impeachment, whether we actually need to relieve the president to make the change…”.

Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02) announced on Thursday that in light of recent actions by President Donald Trump and his administration she's in favor of proceedings.  The action to which Rep. Torres Small objected was the White House counsel’s letter to congressional Democrats in which Trump's lawyers said the President and his administration won't cooperate in an ongoing impeachment inquiry, arguing that the proceedings amount to an illegitimate effort to overturn the 2016 election results.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07) Representative Abigail Spanberger joined six other House Democrats—all from swing districts and all veterans of the military, defense, and intelligence communities—in drafting an op-ed in the Washington Post declaring President Trump a threat to the nation. Spanberger also joined Pelosi Democrats in condemning President Trump’s withdrawal of American troops from Northern Syria.

Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14) well before the fake Ukraine "whistleblower" surfaced Rep. Underwood issued a Twitter statement on Aug. 20 in which she said she has long supported the "impeachment-related investigation.” Underwood has $1.17 million in cash on hand to start the month of October and has booked contributions from outside liberal donors such as Speaker Nancy Pelosi, singer/actress Barbra Streisand and Showtime Networks President David Nevins.
