ODNI Grenell Please Release The Schiff Transcripts NOW!

Adam Schiff Transcripts
Richard Grenell, the U.S. Ambassador to Germany and Acting Director of National Intelligence, on Monday informed House intelligence committee chairman Adam Schiff (CA-28) that some 6,000 pages of until-now secret testimony from the House investigation of President Trump are ready for release.

“All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material,” Grenell wrote to Schiff on Monday, the Washington Examiner first reported.

Among the 53 interview subjects are Donald Trump Jr., former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, former Trump attorney-turned-adversary Michael Cohen and Trump confidant and spokeswoman Hope Hicks, reported The New York Post’s Steven Nelson.

Our friend Sara Carter reports Schiff has refused to release the transcripts to the public, despite a unanimous vote by the committee to do so in the fall of 2018. Numerous sources, who have spoken to Ms. Carter, have stated that Schiff’s refusal to release the transcripts is based on his fear that doing so will destroy his public credibility in pushing the Russia hoax propaganda.

According to Sara Carter’s reporting, the Grenell letter to Schiff included this bombshell: “In the interests of transparency and accountability, I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your Committee’s unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to all Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible. I am also willing to release the transcripts directly from the ODNI, as to ensure we comply with unanimous and bipartisan vote to release the transcripts.”

Grenell stated in his letter that “the ODNI-supervised interagency review of 43 (of the original 53) transcripts was completed in June 2019. As of today, the interagency review of the remaining ten transcripts has been completed, as well. Additionally, in your letter of 26 March 2019, you also requested the ODNI, “under no circumstances…share HPSCI transcripts with the White House, President Trump, or any persons associated with the White House or President.” Pursuant to your guidance, these transcripts have not been shared with the White House.”

But, reported Ms. Carter, Grenell’s letter states emphatically that if Schiff does not break his blockade and comply with the committee’s vote taken last year, the DNI will release the documents directly.

Acting ODNI Grenell’s letter and comments follow hard on the heels of a letter from House Republicans on the Judiciary and Oversight and Reform Committees demanding Schiff allow them access to interview transcripts and other materials obtained during their investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

The letter, signed by leading conservatives, such as Reps. Jim Jordan (OH), Mike Johnson (LA), Ken Buck (CO), Chip Roy (TX), Matt Gaetz (FL), and Andy Biggs (AZ) notes that “For almost four years, prominent Democrat politicians and commentators alleged that President Trump colluded with Russia, with Chairman Schiff going so far as to say that he had “direct evidence” of collusion. Now that these allegations have been disproven by several investigations, the American people deserve to have transparency about why public figures such as Chairman Schiff continued to promote such wild accusations."

Now, here’s an interesting point: All but 10 transcripts were ready to be released in June 2019, Grenell said, and he said the remaining 10 transcripts were completed and the documents have “not been shared with the White House.”

There’s no national security interest in keeping the material secret, and given that the material has been kept from the White House, there’s no reason for Democrats to claim it has been manipulated to help President Trump - So, why has Shifty been sitting on this material for almost a year?

We are going with Sara Carter’s reporting that Schiff’s refusal to release the transcripts is based on his fear that doing so will destroy his public credibility in pushing the Russia hoax propaganda.

We urge Mr. Grenell to release the transcripts at the earliest moment propriety allows – especially if he doesn’t hear back expeditiously from Schiff.

You can communicate directly with ODNI Grenell via Twitter by tweeting him @RichardGrenell we urge CHQ readers and friends to let Ambassador Grenell know you are on his side and want the transcripts released ASAP.

So we are going hat in hand

So we are going hat in hand to politely ask that the House Questionable Intelligence Committee please release the transcripts from the Russia probe into Trump. As it is a work of fantasy, built upon lies, secret meetings, coersion, and Schiff's mad scribbling in the margins...he doesn't want to.

So my questions is this:

Conservatives / those that cherish the Constitution / Libertines and our other Republican cousins hold:

- The White House
- A Senate majority
- A conservative SCOTUS bench
- 26 of the state governorships
- at least half of the voting public

Why are we asking?

Or more to the point

If he DOES hear from Schiff...he must immediately release the transcripts. This "nothing to see here" BS - is BS. The House Lack of Intelligence Committee should not have any part in self-policing nor say in whether this probable evidence of misdeeds, coersion, secret meetings, and outright sedition sees the light of day.

Time for Schiff to trade in the sporty tie for a snug rope.
