We love Ben Carson’s big message of being an outsider who is above the pettiness of inside-the-Beltway politics, but we agree with Iowa's top conservative talker Steve Deace: Dr. Ben Carson had a bad April and comparing himself to Al Sharpton, embracing his “goal” and shaking hands with that proven liar, charlatan, tax cheat, race-baiter, and riot inciter will not be a big selling point in any GOP primary. Dr. Carson would have been miles ahead by “talking truth to power” and taking Sharpton to task to his face, as he did President Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast.
"He (Sharpton) is a good marcher. I think he is the voice of the Obama admin. He’s certainly been to the White House more than any world leader, so that’s who this administration should have sent if it was true to its belief system.”
With Attorney General Eric Holder’s Department of Justice Civil Rights Criminal Division record of anti-police bias and misconduct the hope for an investigation to “dispassionately establish the facts” in the shooting of Michael Brown seems to be receding, not advancing. Sign our petition to impeach Eric Holder.
Niger Innis, civil rights leader & Exec. Dir. for TheTeaParty.net, acknowledged that Michael Brown's death was tragic, but had harsh words for the community’s violent response & for ‘black leaders’ who have ramped up the racial unrest.
Sharpton likened voter ID to a poll tax and claimed its supporters “have not been able to come up with any widespread fraud in any of the states that are passing these laws.” But his embrace of a Democrat who admitted to and was convicted of voting for Obama multiple times has conservatives calling his bluff.
A recent town hall meeting hosted by Al Sharpton to address gun violence exploded into a revolt against “Chicago Machine” politics, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and the aldermen in City Hall, with panel and audience members calling to vote out their elected officials. A preacher even called for “Tea Party” style meetings.
Compared to MLK, the contemporary civil rights movement is an intellectually exhausted disgrace.
Buchanan comments on an American society where black-on-white crime is willfully ignored.
A white boy was beaten badly by black boys for informing authorities that the boys tried to sell him drugs. Where are Sharpton and Jackson?
Holder's not going to file charges against Zimmerman. Obama knows he'd be seen as caving to Sharpton.
Trayvon’s death wasn’t any more newsworthy. Lib journalists and race-hustlers just wanted to sound the wildly inaccurate alarm of ‘racism.’
