Bob Unruh, WND

Retired American military commander Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely said in a statement that Americans need to confront Obama’s tyranny and is recommending the Egyptian model through which to do that.

How Many Are Willing to Die?

Patrick Buchanan,

Millions of Muslims are willing to die to keep American values out of their societies. How many Americans are willing to fight and die over there to force them on Arab peoples?

Cut Cairo’s Dole: It Hurts America and Egypt

Cato's Doug Bandow makes the case that no one in Egypt seems to be listening to Washington today. Egypt’s military is shooting demonstrators, setting political schedules, appointing civilians friendly to the military, and planning to rewrite the constitution. The Obama administration’s decision to ignore American law by continuing U.S. assistance, despite the military coup, is making the situation in Egypt worse.

Senator Paul: Egypt Shows Folly Of U.S. Intervention Abroad

As Senator Rand Paul noted, the problem “with constantly intervening in these troubled parts of the world is that there are often no clear good guys or bad guys. Today's ally can quickly become tomorrow's enemy. This should be a paramount and obvious concern, but in Washington it is almost always treated as an afterthought.” Obama, neo-cons in Congress, the 40 U.S. military personnel we just sent to Egypt as “peacekeepers,” and the average American taxpayer, must now face the reality that, despite the trillions invested, our American government has done a lousy job of picking winners and losers in foreign political contests.

Why Democracy Works In America, Not In Egypt

The American Revolution was not about creating a new kind of government. It was about defending a tradition of local government that had been in place in America for 156 years, since the signing of the Mayflower Compact — a tradition that included regular elections, the secret ballot, rule of law, and an understanding that the purpose of government is to secure our God-given rights to “life, liberty, and property.” There is no such tradition in Egypt.
