Assault on America, Day 264: Democrats have more to worry about than Joe Biden’s flubs

Americans aren’t fooled by Democrats and their lack of substance. Speculation over Joe Biden’s mental state will last as long as he continues to stumble every other sentence, but in the end it doesn’t matter. If he and his fellow Democrats won’t talk about jobs and the economy, they might as well all be demented.

Assault on America, Day 261: Trump knows what he’s doing on Iran. Let’s all be thankful

The president knows history and he’s seen what happens to American leaders who insist on assuming the role of the world’s policeman and food distributor. Sometimes it’s best just to stay out. Thank God Trump appears to have learned this lesson -- and he’ll hold firm against the rest.

Assault on America, Day 260: Authenticity in short supply for Democrat presidential wannabes

Close observation reveals the Democrat presidential candidates are all about the same, which is the reason why they’re having a hard time cutting into Joe Biden’s polling lead. Collectively they’re so far outside the mainstream it’s hard to relate to any of them. Authenticity is in short supply in Democrat-land these days.

The Squad Aims To Make Pro-Life Democrats Extinct In 2020

In today’s “woke” Democratic Party non-conformity is not tolerated, especially on abortion, so any pro-life Democrat is bound to draw an opponent. Such is the case with pro-life Democrat Rep. Dan Lipinski of Illinois, whose Far-Left challenger has just been endorsed by Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Far-Left Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Assault on America, Day 259: Donald Trump, judges, and the consequences of electing liberals

Barack Obama famously said “elections have consequences,” and for once, he was right. America and the world would be very different today if Hillary Clinton had beaten Donald Trump in 2016. #NeverTrumpers only seem to care about tone -- do they think a sweet-talking Democrat would solve things?

Elizabeth Warren's Social Security scam

Stephen Moore, Washington Times

Warren's plan turns Social Security into what is was never intended to be: an income redistribution welfare program. Even a New Dealer like FDR never meant it to be an explicit welfare program with the rich paying largely the freight for the costs of everyone else. Ms. Warren wants to even provide benefits to people who rarely if ever paid into the system at all. There is a much better way to increase the Social Security benefits for young workers without raising taxes on anyone. That is to let all workers take 10 percent of their paychecks and invest those dollars into a personally owned index fund of stocks.

Assault on America, Day 258: For Trump and the GOP in 2020, it’s School Choice, stupid!

Some political issues are such obvious winners they should be in the forefront of every conservative’s campaign pitch. School choice and responsible stewardship of the environment are two subjects the GOP could use to turn heads instead of permitting the left to control the narrative. Are Republicans paying attention?

Assault on America, Day 257: Mark Sanford run the epitome of a #NeverTrump fool’s errand

One can’t necessarily blame Mark Sanford for challenging Trump in the 2020 GOP primaries, but it’s open to debate whether it’s a net positive or just a fool’s errand. The “conversation” regarding debt and spending needs to take place either way -- and who’s to say Sanford should lead it?

Dem Nomination Is Warren's to Lose — and That's Dangerous

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

(If I were a Democrat I'd be embarrassed. Andrew Yang is at least good for some laughs.). Warren is the only one who has run a campaign that is even slightly effective. And it's showing. That's good news for her, but dangerous for the rest of us. Unlike the others, Warren is just possibly savvy enough to win the general. Republicans may think the phony Pocahontas nonsense was enough to do her in, but that's so 2017 (the Paleolithic Age in terms of our politics) and about as likely to sink Warren at this point as Stormy Daniels is likely to sink Trump. These things have already long been baked into our political cake.

Democrats Debate Issues No One Cares About And Policies No One Wants

Based on the results of recent polls, racist pandering is getting Beto and Mayor Pete exactly nowhere. But lack of measurable impact didn’t drive the candidates away from talking about issues no one cares about and pushing policies no one wants and that was ultimately the overarching theme of last night’s Democrat debate.

Assault on America, Day 254: Houston Democrat debate -- Why do they hate America so much?

Democrats have a heck of a lot of work -- and soul-searching -- to do before settling on a nominee to challenge President Donald Trump in next year’s general election. The confusion and indecision on display in Houston won’t clarify the hard choices for the party’s voters -- if anything, it’s more wide open than ever for America’s liberals.

Branding The Democrats: Trump And Rush Channel Viguerie

When this month’s Limbaugh Letter came out detailing Rush’s views on how President Trump has been branding the Democrats and it read like Rush and President Trump had read Mr. Viguerie’s memos and The Secret To A Trump Landslide. As Rush put it: It’s a marketing miracle!

Assault on America, Day 253: Joe Biden, his stamina, smarts & sanity under scrutiny tonight

Americans will be watching closely as the somewhat winnowed Democrat field gathers tonight in Houston for their third debate of the 2020 nominating cycle. After the program we’ll know a lot more about Joe Biden and his ability to sustain himself for the long haul -- of if he’ll merely reprise his role as the incredible shrinking man.

Assault on America, Day 252: 9/11 reminds us we still have far to go to Deliver Us From Fear

Similar to December 7, 1941, September 11, 2001 will live as a day in infamy for folks who vividly remember the attack and its aftermath. The nineteen terrorists will have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams if Americans allow fear to tear our country apart. We can’t let them.

Assault on America, Day 251: Trump leaves mark on GOP politics, but his agenda will endure

Conservative candidates needn’t fret over the day when Donald Trump leaves office and starts his post-presidency career tweeting and influencing GOP politics. As long as they keep Trump’s popular agenda in mind, they’ll be fine -- and avoid the wrath of The Donald at the same time.

Assault on America, Day 250: AOC, sleepless nights & the Democrat climate change alarmists

The 2020 election is about so much more than just the choice between Donald Trump and a yet-to-be-determined liberal opponent. If Democrats prevail, we’re a lot closer to making something like the Green New Deal a reality…an awfully high price to pay so AOC can get a night’s sleep.

Assault on America, Day 247: Chicken Little media gets it wrong -- Trump will win suburbs

It’s far too early for establishment consultants to predict Trump and the GOP’s congressional candidates will lose the once reliable suburban vote. True, bored media reporters need something to write about, but ultimately American voters will decide. Here’s thinking they’ll choose right.

Assault on America, Day 246: No magic mirror needed to see all 2020 Democrats are extreme

Informed political watchers don’t expect much different from next week’s third Democrat debate. Each candidate is extreme to say the least, a fact that will reveal itself the more they talk. Impeachment, a “Freedom Dividend” and Medicare for All will help demonstrate the point. Americans take note.

Assault on America, Day 245: Is ‘Pocahontas’ Warren the new de facto Democrat 2020 leader?

Time will reveal whether Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren’s swelling campaign crowds indicate she’s the new de facto leader of the Democrat presidential primary race. One thing’s for sure -- liberals are taking a long hard look at each of the candidates, unsure of who could best compete with Donald Trump.

Assault on America, Day 244: Trump’s 2020 focus must be fighting DC elite spending swamp

Spending is a Democrat problem and a Republican problem. Trump’s post-Mueller “enemy” could be the congressional big spenders from both parties. Talk about a winning electoral platform…and he’d have numerous things to Tweet about as well. Something to consider as we leap into the fall campaign season.
