Report: DOJ Expert Witnesses Abused Funds

A recent Inspector Gen. report shows that the Dept. of Justice spent millions on unnecessary expert witnesses, who often broke the rules by splurging on hotels and first class flights. The report reviewed 729 expert witness files; at least 10% of the sample had misuse of funds totaling $15 million.
