Lessons of 9/11 Lost in Political Correctness

America is full of men and women who have broad shoulders and stout hearts, but they are not in ascendancy today. Our nation is run by the kind of people who will search an octogenarian from Minnesota before she boards a plane, but will allow the likes of Major Nidal Hassan to shield his evil with a whisper-thin patina of faith.

NeoCons Are Back But Not in GOP

Kelley Vlahos, American Conservative

Will the hawks have the clout to push the Syria issue, or will they be sidelined by a growing anti-interventionism within the GOP?

Can Love Change the GOP?

Lee Habeeb, National Review Online

Here's how conservatives can use love and foregiveness to change our political landscape. No gov't worker can love a child the way his parents can, for example.

GOP Threatens to Stop Being The Party of Stupid

Conservatives are fed-up with the Republican National Committee handing-over the primary season agenda to the liberals in the establishment media every four years. All RNC Chairman Reince Preibus is doing by threatening to pull out of debates sponsored by NBC and CNN is threatening that the GOP will finally stop being the Party of stupid.

Why Defunding Obamacare Matters

Joel B. Pollack, Breitbart

The defunding effort--win or lose--may save the Party. We need to provide a coherent ideological alternative.

Are House Republicans Doing A Slow Cave On Amnesty?

Multiple sources are reporting that House leaders are considering their own version of the Dream Act with a bill that would create a path to citizenship for some children brought to the U.S. illegally. These reports call into question the House Republican leadership’s oft stated commitment to a border security first strategy in contrast to Democrat demands for immigration “reform” that includes amnesty and a "pathway to citizenship" for 11 million illegal aliens.

Cruz Has It Right: Abolish The IRS

Advocates of big government would like us to believe that the IRS can be trusted to implement Obamacare because the targeting of the Tea Party was merely bureaucratic bungling by a couple of poor, overworked government drones in Cincinnati. Ted Cruz says don't believe them and don't trust them, and we agree.

Conservative Consensus: Marco Rubio Has Lost Our Trust

In the aftermath of Florida’s Republican Senator Marco Rubio’s star role as the face of the Obama-backed “Gang of Eight” amnesty for illegal aliens bill, the consensus among conservative leaders is that Rubio has lost the trust of the conservative grassroots.
