Count on Migrants from the World Over to Exploit U.S. Immigration Laws

Betsy McCaughey, The American Spectator

The African migration is indicative of how much larger the humanitarian crisis at the southern border could get. Unless Congress acts. The bleeding-heart Democrats running for president are clueless about where the migrants are coming from and what their impact will be on our country. Frontrunner Joe Biden says the remedy is to send “immediately billions of dollars worth of help” to Central America to “address the root causes that push people to flee.” What about the rest of the world, Joe? Nearly all the Democratic candidates also espouse open borders. At the next presidential debate, moderators should ask if these magnanimous candidates will take migrant families into their own homes. How about a show of hands?

Democrats care more about helping illegal aliens than Americans

Joseph Curl, Washington Times

The contrast is stark. While President Trump is working daily to improve the economy, create good-paying jobs and solve pressing problems facing Americans, the biggest issue right now for Democrats running for president in 2020 is helping illegal aliens get into the United States to get services paid for by U.S. taxpayers. Some candidates are literally going to Mexico to literally help foreigners literally cross the border. But here’s what Mr. Trump should do: Address homelessness, poverty and hunger. These are Americans who need help. And if you’ve been to Los Angeles or San Francisco — the latter being the home district of Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — you know the problem is out of hand.

Put The Citizenship Question On The Census!

The civil servants at the Justice Department didn’t want to fight to win the citizenship question lawsuit and probably laydown and let the Democrats win the first time around. Now there's a new team working on the case and a it looks like both President Trump and Attorney General Barr are committed to seeing the case through to victory.

Americans facing threat of infectious diseases at the border

Tammy Bruce, Washington Times

Infectious diseases are an equal opportunity scourge. The catastrophe at the border is a humanitarian one at every level, which does not discriminate. Far worse than ever before, we face an urgent infectious disease threat to public health for both U.S. citizens and unvaccinated or at-risk (the very young, elderly, immune-compromised) immigrants themselves. This is not a political issue. If we are serious about saving lives and stopping a humanitarian crisis affecting citizen and migrant alike, securing the border and requiring proof of vaccination for everyone entering the country legally must be done.

The Cost Of Amnesty For Illegal Aliens

We urge CHQ readers and friends to call their Representative (the toll-free Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044), tell your Representative to vote NO on H.R. 2820 and H.R. 2821. Tell your Representative giving amnesty to illegal aliens and adding obligations of $35.1 billion to the deficit, while returning only $3 billion in new revenue is a bad deal for America.

Democrats Tee-Up Bills To Grant Amnesty To Drug Smugglers, Prostitutes And Gang Members

We urge CHQ readers to call your Representative (the toll-free Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044), to say you oppose amnesty for illegal aliens, and demand that they vote NO on H.R. 2820 and H.R. 2821, the Democrats’ latest proposal to grant amnesty to gang members, prostitutes and other aliens no rational government would admit to our country.

Illegals Fueling Public Housing Shortage

Betsy McCaughey, The American Spectator

In many cities, Democratic politicians grandstand that they welcome illegals with open arms. These pols’ magnanimity is at the expense of the very people who elect them, taxpayers and American families who depend on public schools, housing, and other services. Place one newly arrived migrant child who speaks no English and has no school experience in a classroom, and the bulk of a teacher’s focus has to be on that one child. The other kids lose out. As one million illegals flood across the southern border this year, open-border Democrats need to be honest about the impact on affordable housing and quality of life.

Jeb Goes Full Bush On Sanctuary Cities

With the Florida legislature about to pass a bill prohibiting Florida local governments from implementing so-called sanctuary city policies, Jeb! has surfaced to opine that sanctuary cities in Florida were “not a problem.” Update - despite Jeb Bush's opposition the bill passed yesterday and Florida now has a tough anti-sanctuary city law.

Trump AG Barr Cracks Down On Phony Asylum Seekers

Attorney General William Barr has ruled that some illegal aliens who are about to be deported must be held without bond as their deportation cases play out. An alien who is transferred from expedited removal proceedings to full removal proceedings is ineligible for release on bond, Barr wrote.

Democrat Judge Tosses Citizenship Question Off 2020 Census

The elephant in the room – and the motivation for liberals fighting so hard against including the citizenship question on the census – is that it will re-open the debate over whether electoral seats should be apportioned according to the population of citizens rather than the total population.

What's A Few More Dead Americans If It Means The Dems Can Score A Few More Political Points?

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall

In order to keep those illegals flowing in, our miserable elite is as willing to let democracy die as it is to let you die. Who thinks this will end well? Anyone? It won’t. It can’t. The American people are not blind. They see the truth, and they are not going to be denied justice forever. The election of Donald Trump was not the worst case scenario. It was the first case scenario. What comes next, if the elite keep denying the will of the people, will be even more disruptive, even more divisive. They might win today's skirmish over the wall, but tomorrow there will be new corpses and greater anger.

Trump’s critics were dead wrong about the caravan after all

Rich Lowry, New York Post

It was conventional wisdom in the press that the caravan was a concoction of Trump’s fevered imagination. It would soon dissipate and, even if not, take months to reach the US. If any significant portion of the caravan gains entry, it will send a message that large-scale movements of people are better than small groups. This could lead to even more pressure at the border — no matter how much it will be dismissed by the same people who insisted the caravan would never arrive at the border.

The Party Of Free Stuff And Illegal Aliens Is Not The Workingman’s Friend

This Labor Day as pundits cast about for heroes of the American labor movement to honor they should forget Samuel Gompers, John L. Lewis, Walter Reuther or Eugene V. Debs and honor President Donald J. Trump for putting Americans back to work.

The Cost of Providing Health Care to Illegal Aliens

David Catron, The American Spectator

The problems with illegal immigration in general, and how much it costs our health care system in particular, aren’t practical. They’re political. One of our two major parties is for open borders and other is (albeit tepidly) for controlling them. So, as Andrew Sullivan puts it, “The Democrats need to accept that they lost the last presidential election for a reason, and that their opponent’s main campaign pledge was to tackle illegal immigration.” They should heed Sullivan’s advice, and stop fighting President Trump (and the voters) on the wall. It will work and can be paid for with ease.

Endorsement: Mary Jones in Virginia's Second Congressional District Republican Primary

By Richard A Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
RINO Rep. Scott Taylor is an arrogant self-promoter. Taylor never seems to miss a chance to go on TV to push for amnesty for illegal aliens, and to trash conservatives and President Trump. It is past time to send him home. We urge our friends and fellow conservatives in Virginia Congressional District Two to vote Mary Jones in the June 12 Republican Primary.

Paul Ryan’s Parting Gift To America: Amnesty For Illegal Aliens

Here is the list of cosponsors of of Speaker Ryan's “Queen of the Hill” resolution. The toll-free Capitol Switchboard is (1-866-220-0044) we urge CHQ readers and friends to call their Representative today to urge them to not to sign on to H.Res. 774 and to oppose any bill that grants amnesty to illegal aliens.

Military Not Enough: Conservatives Want Congressional Action on Border Security

A new FedUp PAC poll found that 90% of those responding agreed that “Congress should pass legislation to secure the border and send home the illegal aliens already here.”

The leftist romance with lawlessness

Charles Hurt, Washington Times

These people do not care about fairness. They do not care about “Equal Justice Under Law.” Aside from their unshakable romance with lawlessness, these ridiculous leftist politicians see illegals as future indentured voters. And they want them to be counted just as American citizens to increase their own representation in Congress. In the end, if you cannot ask a person living in this country if they are a citizen, then what does it even mean any more to be an American citizen?

Democrats Sue Over Citizenship Question In The Census

The Democrats’ eruption over the citizenship question is that states with large illegal alien populations don’t want a future Congress to eliminate illegal aliens from being counted for the purposes of congressional reapportionment and allocation of federal funds where they are currently stealing from the rest of America’s taxpayers and voters by inflating their population with illegal aliens.

Ted Cruz Explains Why He Opposed The Omni-Disaster

In 2016, the American people voted overwhelmingly for Republicans to change Washington. Now, Congress did the exact opposite: pass a massive $1.3 trillion spending bill — 2200 pages drafted by the Swamp in the dark of night — that will plunge our nation even deeper into debt.
