Time to Decide What We Mean by 'Extreme Vetting'

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

Time to cut to the proverbial chase, determine what that vetting would look like, and institute it before more people die and America starts to look like Europe with Fifth Avenue turning into the Champs-Élysées. We need to put an end as much as possible to "known wolves" stalking our streets, organized ISIS/al Qaeda-type terror attacks, and, to be sure, also crazed vengeance-takers assaulting Muslims as happened Sunday in London.

The Perfect Man – You Know Him When You See Him

It is interesting to note that while the billboards don’t mention Islam or Mohammed, the Muslim community knew exactly who it was referring to.  The truth is a powerful weapon, and Truthophobia -- fear of the truth -- is getting a lot of people killed.

Counter-terror Lessons from America's Civil War

David P. Goldman, PJ Media

The way to win the war is to frighten the larger community of Muslims who passively support terror by action or inaction–frighten them so badly that they will inform on family members. Frightening the larger Muslim population in the West does not require a great deal of effort: a few thousand deportations would do.

Nashville City Officials Stand By Decision to Turn Away Christian Activist at Muslim Event Where Mayor Barry Spoke

Wendy Wilson, The Tennessee Star

Jay Chamness wanted to know why he couldn’t attend the event since it was advertised as being open to the public. He contacted city officials about what happened and in an email response, Barry spokesman Sean Braisted said that it was “a privately held event that was open to members of the public at the discretion of the sponsors of the event” and that the right to protest “does not extend to being permitted on private property to disrupt or protest a peaceful event.”

Coming Muslim Baby Boom Could Radically Change Our World

John Stonestreet, CNS News

It’s been said that demography is destiny. If true, and if current trends continue, then the future will look very Muslim indeed. According to the respected Pew Research Center, as reported by Christianity Today, between the years 2030 and 2035, for the first time in history, the total number of babies born to Christian mothers will be fewer than those born to Muslim mothers.

U.S. Should Favor Most Vulnerable Religious Refugees

Religions are not equal when it comes to evaluating refugees. There are non-sectarian reasons to favor members of minority faiths, especially in the Middle East where religious minorities have suffered disproportionately.

Changing Hearts and Minds to Combat Religious Persecution

U.S. officials have never felt comfortable confronting the crime of religious persecution. They have few answers to offer other than pressing unwilling governments to better protect politically unpopular minorities.

Why Muslims back Trump on radical Islam

Shireen Qudosi, FOX News

There is an undercurrent of support from Muslims for the newly elected president. Even those Muslims who couldn’t vote for Trump, but who are engaged with the problem of radical Islam, feel President Trump can act as a megaphone for their voice.

The Biggest Trend During Obama’s Presidency

Christianity and individual Christians have been under attack by Obama and his Far-Left progressive allies, making Christian religious practice a dangerous choice.

606% More Syrian Refugees Admitted Than 2015; 98.8% Are Muslims

Patrick Goodenough, CNS News

In its last full month in office, the Obama administration has admitted 1,307 more Syrian refugees – pushing the 2016 calendar year total to 15,479, a 606.1 percent increase from the numbers resettled in the U.S. in 2015. 15,302 (98.8 percent) are Muslims – 15,134 Sunnis, 29 Shi’a, and 139 other Muslims. 125 (0.8 percent) are Christians.

Obama: Anti-Anti-Terrorist

Andrew C. McCarthy, National Review

Obama is not really pro-jihadist; he is anti-anti-terrorist. As long as they don’t appear to be blowing up buildings, sharia supremacists are not only shielded from scrutiny; our president welcomes the Brotherhood into our national-security apparatus in order to reverse what progressives see as the dangerous excesses of real counterterrorism.

Hillary's Islamophobia

George Neumayr, American Spectator

The Democrats long ago decided to become the party of Islamophilia and Hillary joined in this boosterism. And it has paid political dividends for them. Cynically, Muslims, sizing the Dems up as useful idiots, voted overwhelmingly for Obama, despite his support for causes they see as degenerate. They will cast a similar vote for Hillary. Yet were she living in a country like Saudi Arabia, Islamic donors to her campaign wouldn’t let her drive, much less run for high office.

Killing Homosexuals Is Not ISIS Law, It Is Muslim Law

Andrew C. McCarthy, National Review

The problem with mass immigration from sharia enclaves is not merely that trained terrorists may infiltrate the immigrant population. It is that sharia-adherent, assimilation-resistant Muslims will form sharia enclaves in the U.S., as they have throughout Europe, where young Muslims will be “radicalized” under our noses in the years to come.

What the media isn’t telling you about Ted Cruz’s refusal to meet with a Muslim group

Brandon Morse, RedState

The idea that Ted Cruz won’t meet with Muslim groups is a fabrication. He’s more than willing to, but he’s not going to meet, and validate any organization who recruits, and uses children as human shields, is responsible for more than a few suicide bombings, and more.

Syrian Refugees Admitted to US Since Paris Attack: 1,070 Muslims; 4 Christians

Patrick Goodenough, CNS News

As the administration pushes ahead with a “surge” of Syrian refugee processing aimed at reaching its target of 10,000 this fiscal year, the proportion of Christians among those admitted remains smaller than one percent of the total.

Syrian Refugees Admitted Since Paris Attack:1 Christian, 482 Muslims; 0.2% Christian

Patrick Goodenough, CNS News

One-quarter of the 483 Syrian refugees admitted into the United States since Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) terrorists attacked the French capital on November 13--125 of them--are men between the ages of 14 and 50. The sole Christian among the 483 is identified in State Department Refugee Processing Center data as an adherent of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Poll: Christian rights more important than Muslim ones

Bradford Richardson, The Hill

More Americans say it’s important to defend the religious liberties of Christians than Muslims, according to an AP/NORC poll released Wednesday. The preference for the rights of Christians over Muslims held across party lines.

Establishment Unhinged

Patrick J. Buchanan, CNS News

The American People don't want open borders or mass immigration. They want people here illegally to be sent back, the borders secured, and a moratorium imposed on Muslim immigration until we fix the broken system.

1 Day to Save America: Keep Democrats’ Muslim Right to Immigrate to USA Language Out of the CR

Congress is supposed to pass a Continuing Resolution to fund the government by Midnight tonight. Capitol Hill GOP leaders continue to include funding for all of Obama's most dangerous priorities in the bill. The latest potential threat is language by far-Left Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) that would grant Muslims an irrevocable right to immigrate to America. Only Senators Sessions, Cruz, Tillis and Vitter stood against this existential threat to constitutional liberty. To understand the gravity of this threat we have reproduced Senator Jeff Sessions' magnificent speech in opposition to Leahy's amendment in today's CHQ.

Poll: Two-Thirds Of GOP Primary Voters Back Trump’s Muslim Immigration Proposal

Christian Datoc, Daily Caller

According to Bloomberg, the poll shows an astounding 65 percent of Republicans agreed with Trump following his initial proclamation. After hearing detailed arguments from the opposition, 64 percent of the voters still agreed with the real estate mogul, suggesting “despite some conventional wisdom expressed in the last 48 hours, [the proposal] is unlikely to hurt Trump at least in the primary campaign.”
