The Club for Growth urges all House members to vote “NO” on the Student Success Act (HR 5), a bill that reauthorizes No Child Left Behind.  Republicans deviated from their self-professed conservative principles in a huge way when they originally passed No Child Left Behind in 2001.  With its passage, the federal government massively increased its presence in education, something that – if liberty is to be respected – should be dealt with exclusively at the state and local level.
