As a recent NewsBusters study shows, so far in this news cycle, the major networks have skewed the coverage of the effort to defund Obamacare to make it look like the repeal effort is not about Obamacare’s failed business model and job killing taxes and regulations, it’s all about Planned Parenthood.
If you are attending the Inauguration and wish to avoid patronizing establishments that support organizations, like Planned Parenthood, with “agendas that are effectively the opposite of the incoming president’s” here's the list, as of January 5, of restaurants to avoid.
On Wednesday, the Family Research Council, Susan B. Anthony List, March for Life and eight other groups will announce a coordinated effort over the weekend to criticize the women's health and abortion provider for its role in performing more abortions than any other group in the U.S. and push for stripping it of federal funds.
“When we elect lawmakers, we give them incredible power over issues that matter to us. Like health care and reproductive rights, education and climate change, immigration and the economy, and so much more. Pledge to vote, and we’ll send you a reminder so that election day doesn’t pass you by,” Planned Parenthood’s website stated.
The abortion goliath, Planned Parenthood, posted goliath sized numbers as to just how much business they do in terms of the business they do best. According to LifeNews.com, the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) reported that they killed 964,325 babies in 2015. That's nearly a million children worldwide.
So we have the abortion empire standing in the way of organizations that want to reach out and help women who choose to let their baby live. Does that sound like people who support choice to you?
Days after Democrats again demanded a meeting with House Speaker Paul Ryan to urge him to disband a House panel investigating possible illegal harvesting of unborn baby parts, two panel members and a spokesperson for Ryan indicate they will stay the course.
This woman is horrifying. A walking, talking terror film that consistently appears as a celebrated individual in my news feeds. My heart breaks whenever she opens her mouth, because every word that comes out means more children will die. But what is horrifying for the average person is something Cecile Richards views as success, and goodness.
With the recent death of Antonin Scalia, the next president will likely choose his replacement — and perhaps two more Supreme Court justices, affecting laws in this nation for the next generation. Just as Roe v. Wade was decided by the courts, the battle to end it will be fought in the courts. Are we going to take our chances on a candidate who has expressed little regard for human rights, whether lives in the womb or born?
South Carolina voters need to choose their friends carefully, and Christians should think twice about committing to Planned Parenthood’s favorite Republican before they cast their ballot.
During Saturday’s CBS Republican Presidential debate in South Carolina Sen. Ted Cruz was able to get Donald Trump to admit that he supports taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. It wasn’t easy. Cruz had to do it the face one of Trump’s many whiney and un-presidential tirades during which Trump falls back on his name calling.
What cannot happen is a fractured evangelical base stands around two or three candidates and throws stones at itself. If that happens, we will see another 20 years of liberal Supreme Court justices, and another 20 or 30 million unborn babies killed. This election is now about ending abortion and preserving life, just like 1860 was about ending slavery. The sooner Christians understand that, the better.
More spending, but not on the core constitutional responsibility of the federal government to provide for the common defense. A deteriorating national security posture and a rapid degradation of America’s military capabilities, intrusive and extra-constitutional federal interference in education and other powers reserved by the Constitution to the states, and the complete abandonment of any pretense of governing according to cultural conservative principles are the legacy of the past decade of Republican “leadership” on Capitol Hill.
Pro-life advocate Shari Rendall writes while the indictment of David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt seem to portend a bad omen for pro-lifers, Planned Parenthood is far from off-the-hook. Following the indictment announcement, Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton both issued statements that the state’s investigation into Planned Parenthood remains ongoing and the grand jury’s action will have no impact on the probe.
Planned Parenthood says in its new 2014-2015 annual report, which was released this month, that its affiliates around the country did 323,999 abortion procedures in the fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30, 2014 and that those affiliates received $553.7 million in “government health services grants and reimbursements” in the year that ended on June 30, 2015.
The paper says women are "mothers" while still only pregnant. And one of the paper's key points -- printed in bold in the executive summary -- is: The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program's "positive impact on children begins even before birth and lasts well beyond their childhood years."
Conservatives see the “compromise” spending bill crafted by Speaker Paul Ryan as a surrender to President Obama, according to a new poll conducted by FedUp PAC. A huge majority wants the House to “remove Ryan and install a speaker who will fight Obama down the line.” Please watch our free "message from the grassroots" video and then forward it to your friends to let the Republican establishment know what you think about their complete surrender to Obama.
Republican leaders claim defeating Obama's agenda is too complicated for them to handle, but Rep. Jim Bridenstine of Oklahoma has a simple solution: “It is sad that both parties in Congress are complicit in continuing to fund Planned Parenthood through last minute, massive spending bills like CRs (continuing resolutions) or omnibus bills. I have not and will not vote for any spending bill that sends one cent to Planned Parenthood.”
Just minutes after reports emerged of a shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., members of the media quickly began to draw a dubious connection between the shooting and Planned Parenthood, even though the nearest clinic is about a mile away and there is no evidence it is involved.
We believe in the First Amendment here. The Planned Parenthood apparatchiks have the constitutional right to say anything they want. Just like all those long ago liberals who, defying the fact of Lee Harvey Oswald’s pro-Communist beliefs, sought to blame the Right for the death of a president. But the rest of us have the right to realize just how ridiculous what they are saying really is. And dangerous, too.
