Rep. Renee Ellmers

Specter of sex scandal injected into GOP leadership race

Paul Bedard, The Washington Examiner

North Carolina Rep. Walter B. Jones cited the sex scandals that helped doom 1998 Speaker-elect Rep. Bob Livingston and former Speaker Newt Gingrich in demanding that the House leadership pressure candidates to come clean. "I believe this question is important to the integrity of the House," Jones hand wrote on his letter to House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers.

Roche's Open Letter to GOP-E: You're Failing US

Frank Roche, FrankRocheForCongress.com

Only 15.6% of NC’s 2nd District voted. We missed sending a true conserv. leader to the House by 6,370 votes. We can't have amnesty, must stop the debt, & repeal OCare. We were right. The GOP-E was wrong. Sadly, they win.

North Carolina GOP Primary Tomorrow: Vote Brannon and Roche

We urge North Carolinians to vote for Dr. Greg Brannon because we see in him the same mix of brains, conservative principles, and willingness to fight the special interests that we see in Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee. In NC Congressional District 2, Frank Roche is whip smart and a principled conservative. He understands the tie between the declining quality of life and wages of America’s working families and the wave of illegal and legal immigration swamping this country and is prepared to fight for what makes America exceptional.

GOP-E, TEA Party, & Hollywood Compete in NC02 Race

Michael Patrick Leahy, Breitbart

Incumbent Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) has spurned the Tea Party that got her elected in '10 and become the darling of the House GOP establishment. Her primary opponent, talk radio host and financial services pro Frank Roche, has recently been endorsed by two prominent local Tea Party groups.

Renee Ellmers Berates Anti-Amnesty Constituents

David Steinberg, PJ Media

GOP-E Rep. Renee Ellmers tells anti-amnesty conservative Ron Woodard: “You don’t have any damn facts.” She claims he is stereotyping, and constantly interrupts him. This conduct occurred after she had inconvenienced the group by changing locations at the last minute, and refused to let all of the attendees into her office.

A Report on the Arrogance of Power

My meeting with Congresswoman Ellmers was the most contemptible meeting with a member of Congress I have taken part in. From the beginning she showed a sense of arrogance and disdain for meeting with us.
