By Richard A Viguerie, CHQ Chairman

FLASH UPDATE: President Trump says he is considering vetoing the Omnibus. You may contact the White House through this link to urge him to veto this outrageous attack on the conservative -- populist agenda that elected Donald Trump President.

In another middle-of-the-night sneak attack on America, the leaders of the Uniparty, RINO Senator Mitch McConnell and Far-Left liberal Democrat Chuck Schumer rammed through the $1.3 trillion Omnibus spending bill that no Senator read and few even know what it does. This government by trainwreck will continue unless you get involved.

GOP Establishment Throwing Away Majority In Omnibus

We urge CHQ readers to call the toll-free Capitol Switchboard (1-866-220-0044) to ask for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy. Tell Rep. McCarthy that if he wants to keep his Republican majority in the House there should be no internet sales tax in the omnibus, no funding for Planned Parenthood, no Chuck Schumer earmark for the bloated New York – New Jersey tunnel, no insurance company Obamacare bailout, no Ex-Im bank cronyism, and absolutely no new gun control in this year’s omnibus.

This Week The GOP Decides Who It Is

The omnibus spending bill, slated to be an eye-popping, Obama-level $1 trillion-plus has become a catchall for practically every spending priority of the Democrats, while calls from conservatives for spending discipline and conservative policy riders have been given the cold shoulder by the House and Senate leadership.

Florida Pete Chickens Out

The strangeness of Rules Committee Chairman Pete Sessions’ disappearance during the debate on the "CRomnibus" rule hasn’t been fully explained – particularly given his combative and antagonistic response to conservative criticism of his role in the drafting and passage of the hated “CRomnibus.”

David Sherfinski, The Washington Times

Rep. Tom Cole said he’s opposed to raising the minimum wage, but he’d be willing to look at proposals to do so, "if I thought there were other things attached to it that would create jobs like Keystone." He accused BHO of using the issue as a “political weapon.”
