Latest Planned Parenthood video even more gruesome

Erick Erickson, RedState

Erickson writes, "They are children being killed, butchered, and sold in pieces. The video is unedited. Planned Parenthood is kiling them, gleefully, for cash. They want their Lamborghinis."

The G.O.P. Base Clamors for Confrontation, Candidates Oblige

Jackie Calmes, The New York Times

While tensions between the ideological purists of the base and the pragmatists of the party establishment have simmered for decades, the breach has widened in recent years to nearly unbridgeable. Many Republicans now lament that the divide goes a long way to explain why their party lately has had so much trouble governing in Congress and picking a presidential nominee.

Trump’s Rise and the Tea Party: Rooted in the Failed Leadership of the GOP

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
Readers asked me to expand on my Friday column about the rise of Donald Trump as a contender for the Republican nomination for President. In my view Donald Trump is just the latest in a long line of message carriers who have spoken for grassroots Americans fed-up with the duplicity and betrayals of the Republican establishment and Washington’s ruling class. One of the great ironies of the 2016 Republican presidential campaign may very well be that the establishment Republican political class will finally receive their comeuppance at the hands of Donald Trump, the most unlikely of populist conservatives.

Ted Cruz Issues Manifesto For Conservative Populism

Friday, Senator Ted Cruz gave a powerful floor speech shining a light on the corrupt deal struck by Senate Republican leadership to allow the reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank. The establishment media made a big deal out of Cruz calling-out Mitch McConnell as a liar, but the real history-making aspect of Cruz's speech was the manifesto for conservative populism buried in the truth-telling about Mitch McConnell's duplicity.

Establishment’s Games Will Only Solidify Trump’s Support

RedState.com

A recent poll reveals that Donald Trump’s comments on John McCain were not as damaging as predicted and the establishment’s continued attempts to undermine Trump will only end up making him more popular with a very angry conservative Republican voting base.

It’s Not About Trump – It’s About The Failures Of The Republican Establishment

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
What the Republican establishment, and the Washington political elite in general can’t seem to grasp is Trump’s support is coming from the same place in American politics that the 2009 Tea Party movement came from -- the failure of the Republican establishment to stand for its own principles.

Election Day Will Be a Hollow Victory For GOP

Erick Erickson, Politico

"The GOP celebration will be brief. When the new Republican Congress convenes next year, tries to lead, and looks over its shoulder, there won’t be many conservatives following."

#HoldYourNose2014

The only way to advance conservative government and to stop Obama's campaign to fundamentally change America is to empower Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee and Jeff Sessions with a Republican majority in the Senate.

Tuesday Could End the GOP

Dan Riehl, Breitbart

The GOP is poised to win today only because the Dems are having a bad year, not because they're having a good one. And an estab. GOP that by Mitch McConnell's own admission sought to "crush" it's own base in the primaries can't blame conservatives, or Tea Party-aligned candidates.

Sarah Palin to Run for Office?

Jennifer Harper, Washington Times

Sarah Palin says she “hopefully” will run for office again. Regarding her haters she said, "The more they’re pouring on, the more I’m going to bug them by being out there with a voice.” She has this to say to the GOP: “Those who at least have the titles of leaders in the GOP, they need more guts."

Richard Viguerie, Phyllis Schlafly, and The Exposé of Backroom Republican Politics

Tune in this Saturday, October 25, to Eagle Forum Live with Phyllis Schlafly as she and ConservativeHQ chairman Richard Viguerie celebrate the 50th anniversary of Schlafly's classic book, A Choice, Not An Echohow it exposed dirty dealings in the GOP, and made a powerful case for free elections and a freer America. Viguerie and Schlafly will also discussed how the cronyism has continued.

Ted Cruz and the Real ‘War on Women’

Steve Deace, Townhall

Ted Cruz is a master at reversing the Left’s premise and using it against them.  Detailing what Obama’s policies have done to women and families, and then discussing the powerful relational impact of the most important women in his own life.

Ted Cruz on 2016: Who is Standing Up and Leading?

Matthew Boyle, Breitbart

The Texas Senator is on the road trying to turn out conservatives in November, but he says the litmus test for GOP voters in the presidential primaries should be whether a given candidate has led on the battlefield of ideas against the left and political establishment as a whole.

The Logical Consequence of Mistreating Your Base

Erick Erickson, Red State

The GOP will ultimately win the Senate. But it is going to be far harder than it ever had to be. When you call your base “bigots” and “racists” and then beg them for money and votes, you should not be surprised when they are not sure if they should come back.
