Would Donald Trump Save Americans From Unnecessary War?

Subsidizing prosperous, populous allies and attempting to remake failed states provides little benefit to most Americans, who do the dying and paying. Hillary Clinton’s foreign support actually reinforces Donald Trump’s point: the need for an international policy that advances the interests of the American people.

Trump’s win and his new challenge

Editors, Washington Examiner

At the very least, Trump owes it to the country he boasts he will "make great again" to try to demonstrate some seriousness about the office he seeks. He owes this even to those who will never consider voting for him. He can start by swearing off grand displays of aggressive and apparently deliberate ignorance.

Ted Cruz Is Right – America Is At A Point Of Choosing

What’s at stake in this election is not just who will occupy the Oval Office, but what governing principles will be operative in America for the next generation. Cruz’s succinct formulation is that our goals as a government and as a conservative movement should be jobs, freedom, and security. This is about as tight a statement of the goals and credo of the winning 21st century conservative coalition that the English language will allow.

Speaker Paul Ryan's Budget Makes Major Contribution to Trump Campaign

Establishment Republicans, increasingly desperate to derail Trump’s candidacy, seem completely unable to understand how they have made Trump’s rise possible. To simplify it for Speaker Ryan (and Mitch McConnell and all the lobbyists on DC’s K Street) Trump is winning because he’s running against you, not Hillary Clinton; he’s running against your failure to put so much as speed bump in the road of Obama’s fundamental transformation of America.

Morton Blackwell for Virginia Republican National Committeeman

At what could be a contentious open Republican National Convention, where no candidate has a majority of the delegates when the convention opens, Morton Blackwell’s expertise on the Rules of the Republican Party, his record of working to empower the grassroots and his commitment to fairness and civility will be a much needed anchor to assure that Republicans leave their National Convention united and ready to defeat Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

Part 2: What Should Conservatives Do if Trump Wins the Republican Nomination?

What we see on the part of the Republican establishment is not an effort to deliver the nomination to Senator Ted Cruz, but an effort to create a chaotic situation in which no outsider has a majority, thereby delivering to the Washington Cartel’s powerbrokers and insiders the ability to choose the nominee at the Republican National Convention. If that happens, then conservatives will have to face the reality of working with Donald Trump or opposing him at the GOP Convention.

Part 1: What Should Conservatives Do if Trump Wins the Republican Nomination?

Part One Of A Four Part Series: Trump won Arizona handily with a near-majority of 47 percent and his current cache of at least 739 delegates pretty much seals the math against any other candidate approaching a majority of 1237 delegates going into the Republican National Convention. So what should conservatives do if Donald Trump is the Republican nominee? Today we examine the first of four scenarios.

Conservative Leaders Demand Trump Disclose Hidden Tax Returns

The American people have a right to know that the man or woman who would lead them is beyond reproach in matters of personal finances. If you will not make your returns public we can only assume, at this point, that you are hiding something. Something which, if revealed, could seriously damage your quest for the White House.

Where’s The Establishment GOP’s #NeverHillary Hashtag?

If the Republican establishment really cares about the future of this country and wants to win in November it is time for them to end the #NeverTrump campaign, get Rubio and Kasich out of the race, and join us in backing Ted Cruz and taking up the #NeverHillary campaign.

Ted Cruz is the Only Alternative to Donald Trump

The question now before Republican voters, and especially those inclined to support the wishes of the Party elite in DC, is not Trump vs #NeverTrump, it is who can best unite all of the elements of the winning Republican coalition. And as CHQ Chairman Richard Viguerie has pointed out on numerous occasions, that candidate is Ted Cruz.

Did dumbed-down conservatism lead to Trump?

W. James Antle III, Washington Examiner

If it weren't for a conservative desire to stoke anger and encourage people to respond to it in the same way they react to team sports, it would be hard to imagine so many people flocking to Trump regardless of his actual substantive public policy positions.

Bush, Rubio and Kasich: The Establishment’s Whack-a-Mole Candidates

They rise and fall through the ups and downs of the media cycle, mechanically mouth the same positions that are at odds with the views of the Republican Party’s conservative grassroots base and are eventually whacked back down below ground level when conservatives understand they hold the same views on immigration, amnesty for illegal aliens and Common Core as do Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Vote Cruz in Iowa as if the Republic Depends on It

Ted Cruz represents the conservative movement within the GOP, and if he wins, he brings a new class of conservative activists to Washington, who would displace the present feckless Republican establishment.  And this is what the Republican establishment fears more than anything; when Ted Cruz wins he brings more than a new Republican administration to power – he brings us – the limited government constitutional conservative movement to power.

Is Donald Trump Samson Or Delilah?

The notion of pulling the enemy’s temple down upon their heads is a seductive idea deeply embedded in our culture through the Biblical story of Samson, told in the Book of Judges. But is Donald Trump Samson or Delilah?
