There’s Nothing “Right” Or Conservative About Neo-Nazis

Just as they did in Nazi Germany, Neo-Nazis are fighting for the allegiance of working-class voters by blaming the loss of their upward mobility and quality of life on racial grievance, this only serves the interests of Leftwing politicians bent on dividing America along racial and ethnic lines.

Ocasio-Cortez Channels FALN on Puerto Rico

David Catron, The American Spectator

Puerto Rico’s actual history fails to conform to the mythology imbibed by our “Puerto Rican woman.” We mortals are not able to simultaneously view the world through the eyes of a girl from the Bronx who grew up in Westchester and is now a Puerto Rican woman. Nor have we been inculcated with the Marxist ideology that allows us to parrot FALN propaganda without thinking of the dead and maimed. How canwe know what someone who lives in a totally different universe knows?

Is it Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Party Now?

Patrick J. Buchanan, The American Conservative

While the victory of Ocasio-Cortez is bad news for Pelosi and Hoyer, it may also be a harbinger of what is to come. For the Democratic Party appears about to unleash its radical left, its Maxine Waters wing, and give its ideology another run in the yard. When the party has done this before, however, it did not end well. The new demography of the Democratic Party brought about the defeat of Crowley. A majority white district when he first ran, the Bronx-Queens district he now represents is only one-sixth white. The Irish and Italians have moved out or passed on. And Archie Bunker? He rests in peace in Calvary Cemetery. Like his party.

Why Not Celebrate the Gulags, Too?

Steven Greenhut, The American Spectator

Those of us accustomed to California’s wacky brand of liberal politics often roll our eyes at some of the lefties who run the state Legislature. Nevertheless, I always figured there was a limit to how far left legislators would go. That’s why recent legislation to create a new holiday was a shocker, even for me. Assemblyman Miguel Santiago, D-Los Angeles, introduced a bill authorizing school districts to combine the Lincoln and Washington days into a single day, and turning May 1 into “International Workers’ Day.” Districts would then be required to “teach” kids about the glories of the labor movement.

The Pope's Marxist Head of the Jesuits

George Neumayr, The American Spectator

In the smug leftist atmosphere in Rome, Venezuelan Fr. Arturo Sosa Abascal’s elevation to the head of the Jesuits was inevitable. In the past, the Jesuits had been called the pope’s marines. Under Sosa, they are more like the pope’s Marxists, peddling his climate-change propaganda as a pretext for global socialism.

Peter King’s Political Fraud

Jeffrey Lord, American Spectator

Establishment Republican Rep. Peter King, a Ted Cruz GOP critic, allies with socialist and Communist favorites.
