Anthony Fauci

Dr. Fauci and the Perils of Deep State Medicine

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times

Bluntly, what has occurred here surrounding the pandemic, including the “pandemic panic” under which we live, has to a great degree been exacerbated by Dr. Fauci and his colleagues and their arrogance, cheered on, inevitably, by the Democrats and their media choir. Call it Deep State Medicine. The lion’s share of the blame clearly belongs to Beijing but it is also the Deep Staters, the lifers in the National Institute of Health and the Center for Disease Control, who have some explaining to do. Bureaucracies are primarily concerned with their own survival, of which innovation and experimentation are often the enemy.

Fauci vs. Trump -- Who's Right?

Patrick J. Buchanan, CNS News

Fauci is not "The Decider" here. Trump is. It is he who is accountable to the nation for weighing the losses, both human and material, due to his decisions. Fauci may be the best at what he does, but he is still only an adviser. Believing he can do no more than his White House is now doing to contain the incidence of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, Trump has decided his primary job is to prevent the nation from a catastrophic economic collapse from which it might take years to recover. Trump will be responsible for whether the policy succeeds or opens the floodgates to a second and worse wave, should it come.
