Black Lives Matter

School Board May Be Your Most Important Election

This year school board elections are more important than ever. The first issue many school boards must address this year is whether and how to reopen schools – and make no mistake this decision by a minor elected body will have vast economic and social impact on your community. Then there’s another issue of immediate import your local school board must also address – keeping your local  schools free from Leftwing propaganda in the form of the 1619 Project and the Black Lives Matter at School curricula.

Year Zero

Victor Davis Hanson, National Review

Are there now three Americas? One of white guilt and penance, one of black anger and victimization, and another seething in silence as they see their 244 years of history written off as something worse than the pasts of Somalia, Peru, Iran, or Serbia. There are now two realities — beyond two national anthems, beyond black and white dorms, black and white segregated safe spaces on campus, and beyond now segregated black and white history, language, philosophy, and science and math. The counterrevolution will be easy to spot. If sowing the wind has been getting ugly, reaping the whirlwind will be more so.

The Purity Spiral Turns, as Courage Goes Missing

Roger Kimball, The Epoch Times

Purity spirals end only when confronted and exposed. Efforts at conciliation, like the habit of appeasement, serves to increase their ferocity and their velocity. A statue of Teddy Roosevelt or Abraham Lincoln has nothing to do with the death of the unfortunate George Floyd, neither, for that matter, do statues of Robert E. Lee or Andrew Jackson. An innocuous comment by a eminent art historian about a figure from the past whose actions helped to preserve the material deposit of civilization is not “disgusting,” it is salubrious and illuminating. To pretend otherwise is to play into the hands of the zealots.

Black Lives Don’t Matter to Black Lives Matter

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times

BLM doesn’t seem to care about violence done to blacks if police are not involved, even though black on black is by many multiples more lethal and more common, resulting in exponentially more black casualties. BLM’s primary interest appears to be smashing the state, creating revolution with their Antifa pals in order to take power themselves. The vast majority of black children are now born out of wedlock to single-parent homes, the world stacked against them before they can start. That’s something BLM should want to do something about if real black lives actually mattered to Black Lives Matter.

Blue’s not black to the left

Michael Goodwin, New York Post

Black Lives Matter has a new message, placing race above all else and in opposition to the moral and legal foundations of our society. Black police officers who are not authentically black, according to BLM, because they are supposedly more loyal to the police than to their race. Listen to those pulling down statues and engaging in other “cancel culture” actions and it’s clear that race is the crucial, animating factor, even though most of the activists are young whites. They're abandoning reform in favor of a mindless revolution that threatens to turn back the clock on equality and racial progress.

Democrats Run Cities Where Cops Kill Blacks

A group, led by some of America's most prominent African-American conservatives, has addressed a letter to President Trump and Congress pointing out that in the wake of George Floyd’s unjustified death, well-organized agitators and Democrat politicians have weaponized Mr. Floyd’s death to demonize law enforcement, President Trump, and conservatives in general, by conveniently hiding the fact that the Minneapolis city council and mayor—along with the district’s congresswoman, both senators, and the Minnesota governor—are all Democrats with a decidedly anti-American agenda.

Why Can’t Democrats Run A Competent Police Force?

Democrat-run big cities -- New York, Baltimore, Chicago, and Minneapolis are notable cases -- that continue to struggle with relations between the police and minority communities; in some cases, those relations have even regressed. The media rarely acknowledge this monumental failing of the Democratic Party, and it seems to evoke little self-reflection among urban Democrats themselves, because it is much easier to blame Donald Trump and imaginary systemic racism than it is to train and manage a competent police force.

Conservative Leaders: Justice, Not Chaos

Over 100 conservative leaders representing millions of grassroots conservatives nationwide have released a “memo to the movement” decrying the violence in the wake of the killing of George Floyd and urging state, local and national authorities to respect peaceful protests while acting with alacrity to restore law and order when individuals and organizations turn to violence and use Mr. Floyd’s death to pursue an agenda of social conflict and destruction.

Democrat Campaign To Delegitimize 2020 Election Intensifies

"The only way Trump can win is if he cheats" and "the military will have to pry him out of the White House" are two key information warfare themes that Democrats and their Far Left allies have been pushing hard since the election season started in earnest and they see them as key elements of their strategy to get the 2020 election into what we call “the margin of chaos.”

Nigel Farage Is Right, Of Course BLM Is Like The Taliban

Nigel Farage, the British patriot behind the oft-postponed British exit from the European Union, had his microphone cut during an appearance on Good Morning Britain and was cut loose from his LBC Radio Show with "immediate effect" amid anger over comments he made comparing Black Lives Matter (BLM) to the Taliban, but as we explain in this article, Mr. Farage is right.

Lessons From Antifa’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone

Communist thugs of Antifa have declared a six-block area of Seattle to be “autonomous” with signs on barricades that read: “You are now leaving the USA.”  Those not infected with Leftwing insanity should recognize this occupation for what it is – another probing movement in the counter-state’s campaign to delegitimize the government of the United States of America.

Ted Cruz: Democrat calls to defund the police are asinine

Senator Ted Cruz was right, “Democrats’ calls to defund or disband the police are asinine and would end up killing many Americans if enacted.” We urge CHQ readers and friends to call their local city officials to demand that they increase their community’s law enforcement budget and that their local leaders recognize that calls to defund the police are another step in the long march to fundamentally change America into a socialist oligarchy.

It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution (Conclusion)

The killing of Mr. Floyd was a tragedy, but the spring-loaded narratives that followed were pre-packaged and are aimed at delegitimizing law enforcement in advance of a period of pre-election day violence. Looking at the information presented in "It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution" in its entirety, the riots and street violence now occurring were foreseeable, were foreseen, and, as is already occurring, designed to go national.

It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution (Part 5)

As our friends Steve Coughlin and Rich Higgins demonstrated, cultural Marxism and Maoist insurgency concepts are powering the Left’s counter-state narratives and political warfare and have now become so embedded in American media that they are molding the behavior of Republicans, as well as already sympathetic Democrats, leaving our country without, as Angelo Codevilla put it, any possibility of “stepping back” from the current civil war.

It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution (Part 4)

The ultimate object of the Left's strategy is to bring the conduct and results of the 2020 election inside the “margin of chaos,” where means other than counting legally cast votes, attributable to legal voters, will determine the outcome and a second Trump term can be stopped through litigation or mired in four years of continuing street battles.

It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution (Part 3)

Republicans and conservatives must force themselves to recognize that the violence and riots perpetrated after the death of George Floyd are just the probing movements of the coming summer’s hardcore Leftist revolution that intends, through violence and intimidation, to hijack the American political process, thwart the will of the American people and throw the 2020 election into chaos.

It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution (Part 2)

Many members of the black community, especially the business owners, church members and religious leaders, would be shocked to learn that the intellectual godfathers of the Black Lives Matter movement are mostly white Communists, “queers” and leftist Democrats, intent on making blacks into cannon fodder for the radical Leftist revolution brewed by the money of a Nazi collaborator.

It’s Not A Protest, It’s Not A Riot, It’s A Revolution (Part 1)

In 1917, Lenin and Trotsky approached their revolution on two fronts; one was to paralyze the Duma – at the time the Russian equivalent of Congress, the other front was to use real or imagined outrages against innocent parties to create civil unrest and sympathy for their revolutionary cause. In 2020 that role is being played by the death of George Floyd and the Marxist organizations Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

Trump And Barr vs ANTIFA and the Democrats

President Trump and Attorney General Barr have said the violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly. The problem for Attorney General Barr is not identifying the low level cannon fodder on the streets, it is that among that among those instigating and coordinating the violence are sitting members of Congress and their families and the children of the Governors who are supposed to be quelling the riots.

Mayor Pete’s African American Problem

Buttigieg’s African American problem was driven home a couple of days ago by the stark numbers coming out of a Washington Post/Ipsos poll: While 48% of black voters polled backed Joe Biden, only 2% of black Democratic-leaning voters backed the former South Bend Mayor.
