Local GOP Committee Strikes Back – Votes To Censure RINO Congressman

In a sober, frank, open and honest discussion of Rep. Denver Riggelman's voting record the Rappahannock County Republican Committee voted to censure the freshman GOP Representative for voting to undermine President Trump’s program of "American jobs for American workers" and undermining Trump’s pledge to stay out of other countries’ civil wars and to refrain from military commitments not clearly tied to our own national security.

Riggelman Betrays Virginia Workers With Immigration Stands

After decades of stagnant wages (due in some measure to pressure from illegal alien labor) American workers in the construction industry are now receiving a much-deserved raise, however, by co-sponsoring H.R. 1740 Rep. Denver Riggelman wants to dilute the construction labor market by adding foreign workers thereby depressing the wages of American workers in one of the few totally domestic labor markets.

Cuccinelli Knocks Down Fake News On Military Dependent Citizenship

"This policy update does not deny citizenship to the children of US government employees or members of the military born abroad," said Ken Cuccinelli, Acting Director of USCIS. Something is seriously wrong in our news media when what should have been an article about the Trump administration following the law as Congress wrote it morphs into, “Trump is being mean to military families.”

Democrat Hypocrisy on Family Separation at the Border

David Catron, The American Spectator

It’s strange that the Democrats object to the establishment of uniform standards of care for children, allowing families to stay together while being processed through the immigration system, restoring some sanity to that process, and protecting children from exploitation by human smugglers. And yet they do. Last year they denounced Trump for separating families. Now they’re fulminating because he wants to keep them together. The Democrats are evidently willing to accept child abuse and human trafficking in exchange for illegal votes from non-citizens. It is, as they would put it, cruel.

Can The Democrats Beat Trump With A Campaign Of Lies?

We agree with Rep. Gabbard that, in a field of noted prevaricators, Sen. Kamala Harris stands out as perhaps the biggest liar, but the fact of the matter is the Democratic Party’s entire campaign against President Trump is based on lies.

Dem Debate: America’s Urban Poor Out – Illegal Aliens In

Last night’s debate offered little hope to America’s most desperate citizens and showed that having booked the African American vote, inner city African Americans are now just dust in the Democrats' rearview mirror, they’ve now moved on to servicing illegal aliens in the hopes of obtaining a new cohort of desperate clients eager for socialism’s phantom rewards.

Dem Debate: After #OrangeManRacist Democrats Have Nothing But Your Money

Other than two brief moments of lucidity from Montana Governor Steve Bullock and former Rep. John Delaney, the Democratic Debate was mostly a bizarre combination of charges that Donald Trump is a racist and promises of free stuff for everyone paid for by imaginary gazillionaires.

Kamala Harris Is An Anchor Baby, Not A ‘Natural Born Citizen’ Of The United States

From our perspective, the circumstances of Kamal Harris’s birth were a form of birth tourism where the child is born in the geographic confines of the United States for the sole purpose of obtaining American citizenship and then whisked off to another country, only to return when and if being an American is economically advantageous.

GOP List Of Shame On Budget Vote

From our perspective the spending deal was no victory, but another “fear The Turtle” moment in which the not-so-subtle big spending hand of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell manipulated the White House and the House Republican Leadership into once again abandoning any pretense of fiscal restraint.

Border Wall Big Win, But Not Fundamental

President Trump and conservatives won a big victory in the Supreme Court’s Wall ruling and in the otherwise disastrous spending bill, but we must be prepared to renew the immigration fight when Congress returns in September and takes-up the next round of spending bills.

Thom Tillis Nosedives In NC GOP Senate Primary. Garland Tucker on the Rise

In the campaign’s first poll, taken before Thom Tillis flip-flopped on President Trump’s Border Emergency Declaration and when Garland Tucker was unknown, Tillis led then by 56 points. In the July poll Tillis’ world turned upside down. Longtime observers of North Carolina politics say they've never seen an incumbent Senator drop as much, as quickly, as Thom Tillis.

Bernie Sanders Oppressor Of The Working Class

Senator Bernie Sanders may be the first Marxist to have a serious chance of being the Democratic Party’s nominee for President of the United States, but it appears his campaign operates more on the free market economic principles of Milton Friedman than the socialism of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin.

Dems insist ‘no one is above the law’ — except illegal immigrants

Marc Thiessen, New York Post

Democrats didn’t think this way when they held the White House. President Barack Obama deported far more illegal immigrants than Trump has. Axios reports that “under the Obama administration, total ICE deportations were above 385,000 each year in fiscal years 2009 to 2011 and hit a high of 409,849 in fiscal 2012.” I don’t recall Democrats in Congress accusing Obama of a “crime against humanity” or actions “outside the circle of civilized human behavior.” Back then, Democrats agreed, as Sen. Charles Schumer put it in a 2009 speech, that “illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple.” Since Trump took office, Democrats have become the party of illegal immigration.

Trump's immigration deal with Mexico is working

Jan Brewer, Washington Examiner

The Democrats' ultimate objective is to dismantle our entire immigration system and open our borders to anyone who wishes to enter the country for any reason. After being humiliated by the unexpected ease with which Trump convinced Mexico to help fight illegal immigration, liberals tried to save face by pretending that the deal was toothless. Now they have been humiliated yet again by the undeniable impact the agreement has had in a remarkably short period of time. In truth, the Democrats have only themselves to blame for underestimating Trump’s border security deal with Mexico. Their radicalism clouded their judgment, just as it has throughout the Trump presidency.

The Selfish Actors of Illegal Immigration

Victor Davis Hanson, National Review

Many people benefit from the lawbreaking: The Mexican and Central American governments, the Democratic party, employers, ethnic activists, rich progressives, and the illegal border crossers themselves. Almost every party invested in open borders proves utterly selfish. If border crossers were temporarily housed in vacant summer dorms at Stanford, Harvard, or Yale, or were accorded affordable-housing tracts for immigrant communities in the vast open spaces of Portola Valley and the Boulder suburbs, or if immigrant children were sent en masse to language-immersion programs at St. Paul’s, Sidwell Friends, or the Menlo School, then the progressive social-justice warrior would probably go mute.

Tucker Carlson Is Right, But Who Is Responsible For This Disaster?

Tucker Carlson was right, “Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.” And if Tucker is right, it is fair to ask who is responsible for this civilization-level disaster? We hold former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama responsible for introducing this poison into our society.

A Modest Immigration Proposal

Victor Davis Hanson, National Review

Our universities are, of course, loci of progressive caring and are praised for their sharp opposition to what they think are archaic ideas of sovereignty, border security, and legal-only immigration. And yet so often our social-justice warriors are distant from the concrete recipients of their own often loud advocacy. What better pathway for cultural progress than to have university communities interact with recent immigrant arrivals through housing, socializing, and schooling immigrants? A kid from Atherton, Cambridge, or Chevy Chase might learn a lot by living among arrivals from Oaxaca and vice versa. At least such first-hand association would ground urban progressives’ abstract advocacy in real-life caring.

Build the Wall to Save Central America

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

What makes dysfunctional countries functional? Getting their act together. Facing reality. Electing decent officials. Doing something for their own country as citizens, starting businesses, farming, construction, etc. In other words, hard work. That's not easy. But all those families and faux families making their way to our Southern border and then crossing over with equally faux claims of asylum only exacerbate things for their countries of origin. They also drain those countries of good hard-working people. Some, anyway. The best thing that can happen for Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras is for us to build a wall, a real one, that covers the entire Southern border (with gateways, obviously).

The Party of Illegal Immigration

The Editors, National Review

There didn’t seem much room for Democrats to move left on immigration, but they’ve found it. The collective posture of the party is getting closer and closer to open borders, only without embracing the label. If there were any doubt that Democrats want to welcome illegal immigrants and treat them like U.S. citizens, seeing every single candidate on the stage last night promising to provide government health insurance to illegal immigrants removes it. The Democrats’ radicalism on immigration is certainly a political mistake that will give President Trump ready fodder next year. We’d say it’s impossible for Democrats to get any further out on this limb, but the next round of debates is only a month away.

A Lesson For Democrats From Jimmy Dean

When Jimmy Dean sells sausage, he doesn’t show his customers how the sausage is made and what goes into it – there are no pictures on TV of pigs being herded into the packing plant, killed and ground-up. Fortunately for President Trump, today's Far Left Democrats are showing their customers not only how the sausage is made, but who in America is going to be killed, ground up and stuffed into the casing if a Democrat is elected president.
