Maxine Waters

The Descent into Progressive Madness

Victor Davis Hanson, National Review

The dinosaurs of the party desperately seek relevance by sounding crazier than the new unhinged base that disrupts Senate hearings, loudly pronounces a new socialist future, and envisions octogenarian Maxine Waters as more the future of the party than is septuagenarian Nancy Pelosi. All that we can say about this new progressivism is the same as what we can say about the cult of sanctuary cities, ensuring universal Medicare for all, and the idea of abolishing ICE: It operates outside the realm of reason and truth as it descends into collective madness.

Why Maxine Waters Is Going Crazy

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

Categorize the person and stamp out the individual. You're a black. You're a lesbian. You're a single mother.  That's all you are. A category. Someone to be exploited and then spit out. This is where today's Democratic Party is taking us and has taken us, consciously or not. It's what Maxine Waters depends on for her money and power. If you follow it to its logical conclusion what you get is something far closer to the Nazi Germany of The Master Race and The Final Solution than anything remotely to do with Donald Trump.

Democrats Have Already Started The Second Civil War

The FBI defines domestic terrorism as events that appear intended to "intimidate or coerce a civilian population" or "influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion." If that is not what the Left has been engaged in with increasing ferocity, especially over the past two weeks, then “intimidation and coercion” have lost their meaning.

Barking mad and proud of it

Wesley Pruden, Washington Times

Mob rule is the prescription of certain of her colleagues on Capitol Hill. That’s Rep. Maxine Waters’ solution to the chaos abroad in the land. Miss Waters is not every Democrat’s cup of tea, and many Democrats on Capitol Hill and in other places, are not happy that she has become the public face of the Democratic impeachment dream. A growing number of Democrats have noticed that there’s only four months go until Nov. 6 and the congressional midterm elections, and the party is still playing the old game of “you show me yours and I’ll show you mine.”

The White House Correspondents Association Dinner And Other Fake News

Despite the self-promotion, the White House Correspondents Association dinner is hardly a “tradition” in the sense most Americans think of our national traditions, such as turkey for Thanksgiving dinner or fireworks on the Fourth of July.
