The Media's Transgender 'Eradication' Panic

L. Brent Bozell III and Tim Graham, CNS News

Liberals inside and outside the media can't seem to grasp that Obama's loony transgender mandates caused alarm with conservatives — science lovers and religious people alike — and that the mandates were a serious reason those people marched to the polls to vote for President Trump. Somehow, they think this screechy new panic will drive their millennials to the polls and not motivate conservatives. They might be disappointed all over again — and show they learned nothing.

On Sex, the Trump Administration Returns to Reality and the Law

Ben Shapiro, National Review

If Democrats wish to change Title IX by explicitly amending it to include protection for effeminate behavior by biological men, or masculine behavior by biological women, or to protect self-attributed “gender identity,” by all means, they can go for it. But to simply rewrite the law along the lines of illogical leftist groupthink is a violation of any constitutional system. It happens to be bad policy as well. Nobody should make the utterly dishonest suggestion that willful, illegal rewriting of law to back overtly political priorities amounts to either answerable government or supportable science.

Let the Dems Be the Transgender Party

George Neumayr, The American Spectator

Trump’s thankless recovery of common sense shows once again that conservatism is too important to be left to self-appointed conservatives. Had the rank-and-file listened to these frauds, Hillary Clinton would be president, her boot would lay on their necks, and the military would be building statues to “Chelsea” Manning.

Time for Some Straight Talk: Trump Is Right on ‘Transgenders’

Bill Donohue, CNS News

The reason why Type 1 diabetics are barred from the military is because of their need for regular injections; accommodating them is not practical. Trans persons need regular injections as well. So if anything, allowing trans persons to serve, but not Type 1 diabetics, is not fair—it is an expression of unjust discrimination. The answer is not to allow these diabetics to serve, but to ban both groups.

Another burden for Willie and Joe

Wesley Pruden, Washington Times

The military services have always been able to recruit whom they think fit, even in wartime when the draft takes in everyone. The generals and admirals have never before been required to abide anything or anyone to fracture unit cohesion, or coddle the weak and unfit, or take unacceptable risks for the sake of appeasing politics.
