Sen. Lindsey Graham Announces Ukraine Hearing With Rudy Giuliani

Graham Giuliani
Senator Lindsey Graham, Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, has announced a hearing on Ukraine featuring former New York Mayor and President Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.

In announcing the proposed, but not yet scheduled, hearing Senator Graham said, “I have heard on numerous occasions disturbing allegations by Rudy Giuliani about corruption in Ukraine and the many improprieties surrounding the firing of former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

“Given the House of Representatives’ behavior, it is time for the Senate to inquire about corruption and other improprieties involving Ukraine.

“Therefore, I will offer to Mr. Giuliani the opportunity to come before the Senate Judiciary Committee to inform the Committee of his concerns.”

What we hope Mr. Giuliani will do is reiterate before the Senate Judiciary Committee what he told John Roberts of Fox News back on September 22, 2019.

For a refresher, or eye opener if you haven’t it before, here is a partial transcript:

…what I'm talking about, this, it's Ukrainian collusion, which was large, significant, and proven with Hillary Clinton, with the Democratic National Committee, a woman named Chalupa, with the ambassador, with an FBI agent who's now been hired by George Soros who was funding a lot of it.

When Biden got the prosecutor fired, the new prosecutor, who Biden approved -- you don't get to approve a prosecutor in a foreign country, unless something fishy is going on.

The new prosecutor dropped the case, not just on Biden's kid and the crooked company that Biden's kid work for, Burisma. That was done as a matter of record in October of 2016, after the guy got tanked.

He also dropped the case on George Soros' company called AntAC. AntAC is the company where there's documentary evidence that they were producing false information about Trump, about Biden. Fusion GPS was there.

Go back and listen to Nellie Ohr's testimony. Nellie Ohr says that there was a lot of contract between Democrats and the Ukraine.

Well, I have all the contacts. And, John, when the rest of this comes out, and when you look at China and the $1.5 billion that the -- that the Biden family took out of China while that guy was negotiating for us, this will be a lot bigger than Spiro Agnew.

They have fallen into a trap.

Later in the interview Mayor Giuliani clarifies how the whole Biden influence peddling operation works:

…This began with someone coming to me saying, this information can clear your client about the corruption in Ukraine between the Ukraine, the Democratic Party, the ambassador, and the FBI agent who investigated the case.

ROBERTS: But it then -- but then it morphs into Biden.

GIULIANI: And -- inextricably combined, because Biden had the guy fired, Shokin.

By the way, his statement is on record. The lazy press could go read it. They don't have to listen to me. There are three videotapes of prosecutors on record, available on here, that nobody has covered for five months, because this town protects Joe Biden.

His family has been taking money from his public office for years, $1.5 billion from China, when our vice president is supposed to be impartially and independently negotiating for us? And the kid, he takes him on Air Force Two to China, and the kid...

ROBERTS: That was in 2013.

And the kid, unfortunately, is a drug addict. China didn't give $1.5 billion to his kid, Biden's kid, a recovering drug addict, Kerry's stepson, and Whitey Bulger's nephew.

Ladies and gentlemen, go look at what the press has been covering up on you.

The set of facts that Giuliani laid out are very much in line with those documented by which we analyzed in our article, “Where’s Hunter?

The same year that Barack Obama and Joe Biden took over the White House in 2009, a general partnership formed that brought together Hunter Biden, son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, Christopher Heinz, stepson of then-Sen. John Kerry (later to be Secretary of State), and Devon Archer, a classmate of Heinz’s from Yale.

As conservative author Peter Schweizer details in his book “Secret Empires,” Biden and Archer, along with James Bulger of the consultancy firm the Thornton Group, took several meetings in 2010 with high-profile business and government interests in China. As Rudy Giuliani has pointed out, James Bulger is the nephew of mobster Whitey Bulger and the son of former Massachusetts state Sen. Billy Bulger.

Schweizer came across an account of the meetings posted by the Thornton Group — in Chinese — in which Chinese executives expressed their “warm welcome” to the “Thornton Group, with its US partner Rosemont Seneca chairman Hunter Biden (second son of the now Vice President Joe Biden).” According to the Thornton Group’s account — a copy of which Schweizer emailed to — the purpose of the meetings was to “explore the possibility of commercial cooperation and opportunity.”

So, Joe Biden becomes Obama’s “point man” on Ukraine and suddenly Hunter gets a $50,000 a month seat on the board of a controversial Ukrainian energy company. Then Biden takes his son Hunter to China and Hunter’s company later inks a billion-dollar deal with China, but there’s nothing illegal going on say, Biden and his attorneys.

We can understand how and why someone in China might want to do business with Christopher Heinz, he’s the son of the late Senator John Heinz and an heir to the multi-billion-dollar Heinz ketchup money – he can put skin in the game. But Hunter Biden? The only thing he could put in the game is his father’s name and access to his father’s influence. That may or may not be illegal, but it sure stinks of at least the appearance of corruption.

We hope the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Rudy Giuliani comes off, but what we hope for even more fervently is a hearing with Hunter Biden that will give him the opportunity to explain what, beside his father’s name, he put into these foreign business ventures.

The toll-free Capitol Switchboard number (1-866-220-0044), we invite CHQ readers and friends to call Senator Lindsey Graham and urge him to subpoena Hunter Biden once he completes the Rudy Giuliani hearing.
