President Trump’s Fiery Letter To Pelosi Shreds Impeachment Case

Trump letter to Pelosi
In a powerful letter addressed to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, President Trump shredded the Democrats’ case for impeaching him and laid bare the anti-constitutional, anti-American process by which Democrats arrived at their two articles of impeachment.

"Everyone, you included, knows what is really happening, Trump said. "Your chosen candidate lost the election in 2016, in an Electoral College landslide (306-227), and you and your party have never recovered from this defeat. So you have spent three straight years attempting to overturn the will of the American people and nullify their votes. You view democracy as your enemy!"

He went on: "You are the ones interfering in America's elections. You are the ones subverting America's Democracy. You are the ones Obstructing Justice. You are the ones bringing pain and suffering to our Republic for your own selfish personal, political, and partisan gain."

Trump specifically hammered Pelosi for daring "to invoke the Founding Fathers in pursuit of this election-nullification scheme," and "even worse," for "offending Americans of faith by continually saying 'I pray for the President,' when you know this statement is not true, unless it is meant in a negative sense."

"It is a terrible thing you are doing," Trump added, "but you will have to live with it, not I!"

“Any member of Congress who votes in support of impeachment – against every shred of truth, fact, evidence, and legal principle – is showing how deeply they revile the voters and how they detest America’s Constitutional order,” he wrote. “Our Founders feared the tribalization of partisan politics, and you are bringing their worst fears to life.”

Trump said he found her “false display of solemnity” to be most insulting.

In announcing that she had directed the House Judiciary Committee to draft articles of impeachment, Pelosi spoke of Congress’s “solemn” duty to act as a check on the president.

He said she had little respect for the American people if she expected them to believe she was “approaching impeachment somberly, reservedly, and reluctantly.”

“This is not a somber affair. You are making a mockery of impeachment and you are scarcely concealing your hatred of me, of the Republican Party, and tens of millions of patriotic Americans.”

The President (rightly we think) also claimed that "more due process was afforded to those accused in the Salem Witch Trials."

Trump declared he had “no expectation” Pelosi would bring the impeachment proceedings to a halt, he added: “I write this letter to you for the purpose of history and to put my thoughts on a permanent and indelible record.”

POLITICO’s Quint Forgey noted, White House counsel Pat Cipollone issued a similarly confrontational letter in October to Pelosi and the three committee chairs leading the impeachment probe, writing that their inquiry lacked “any legitimate constitutional foundation” and stating that the administration would not comply with Democratic lawmakers’ requests.

The letter, which was immediately panned by the establishment media and DC pundit class, was vintage Donald Trump, and foreshadows the potential fireworks to come in the Senate – if there is a lengthy Senate trial.

President Trump Must Have Choked...

Brilliant letter Mr. President,

How it must have galled you to actually write the word "Honorable" in the title to Speaker Pelosi. What a joke. If there is one descriptor that is in need of omission from many politician's address and any Democrat that backs this's honorable.

Keep Calm & Carry On Mr. President! We have your back.
