Mr. President When Your Enemies Are Committing Political Suicide Get Out Of Their Way

Democrats Breathe Act
Recently, Democrats have been doing a great job of committing political suicide by embracing a host of mean, evil, violent, radical, elitist socialist candidates and causes.

How far over the cliff have the Democrats driven?

Consider that in the past couple of weeks:

Joe Biden said the police are the enemy of the people.

Joe Biden said he’s in favor of defunding the police.

Joe Biden announced an immigration plan that grants citizenship to between 11 million and 20 million illegal aliens creating a tsunami of new Democrat voters that will ensure America becomes a one-party socialist state.

Joe Biden said he would rescind the religious exemption just upheld by the Supreme Court and force the Little Sisters of the Poor and other religious organizations to fund abortions.

New York Democrat Mayor Bill DeBlasio cut $1 billion from the New York police budget in the midst of the city’s largest murder surge in 30-years.

Relatively moderate Democrat Rep. Eliot Engel, the House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman, was defeated in the primary by Jamaal Bowman, a Far Left activist in the mold of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Rep. Ilhan Omar said Democrats want to dismantle the American economy and constitutional government, which she called a “system of oppression.”

Democrat Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley introduced bill to defund the police and give reparations to African-Americans, along with many other radical proposals.

Democrats announced their 2020 Platform would give asylum to the world’s migrants — inviting them all to the United States to live and work.

The Democrats announced their 2020 Platform will reinstitute and add to the oppressive Obamacare healthcare mandates.

Democrat activist and BLM founder and leader Shaun King said 'white European' Jesus statues should be torn down.

Democrat activist and BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors admitted she and other members of the organization are “trained Marxists.”

And in response to the mob destruction of a statue of Christopher Columbus in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said, "People will do what they do."

Unfortunately, the Democrat Party’s self-immolation, and President Donald Trump’s own stellar speech at Mt. Rushmore and the Independence Day celebration at the White House were drowned out by – you guessed it – Donald Trump.

Rather than stay on message, and give the Democrats plenty of rope with which to hang themselves, the President unloosed a steady stream of self-referential and vitriolic tweets, some against his own Supreme Court appointees, on issues that have nothing to do with winning reelection, gaining a Republican majority in the House and keeping the Senate in Republican hands.

As I observed in my column The Only Guy Who Can Beat Trump Is Trump, if the President keeps sucking the oxygen out of all his winning issues, and allowing the Democrats’ frightening agenda to be obscured in the fog of his outsized personality, he’s going to lose reelection and take the House and the Senate, and the future of constitutional liberty down with him.

Donald Trump rallies are some of the best political theater I’ve seen in my nearly 60 years in conservative politics at the national level, and Trump’s ad-makers have produced some compelling arguments for his reelection – but none of that matters if the campaign is only about Donald Trump’s personality, and none of it is on the case for his reelection and what the Democrats plan to do to our country if they win.

We are over 100 days from Election Day 2020, which is a lifetime in politics, and plenty of time for Trump to shift the focus back on the Democrats and their truly frightening plans to reshape America and dismantle constitutional liberty. The Democrats are committing political suicide on social media and national TV, President Trump should get out of the way and return to the themes of his Mt. Rushmore speech and his vision for rebuilding America instead of tweeting about himself.
