Charles Krauthammer

America Lost Its Greatest Political Commentator in Krauthammer

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

Krauthammer was the gold standard of columnists, the most incisive mind in political journalism augmented by the most elegant and precise prose. For much of his life, no one was even close. In recent years, others have stepped forward as Charles had, as happens after many years in the limelight, more difficulty wrapping his mind around contemporary events. But as we now know, he was desperately ill.

The Passing of a Giant

R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr., The American Spectator

Some of us have time left to make amends or to wring out a few more achievements before we die, but I do not think it is too early to say Charles Krauthammer was one of the great men of my generation. He was singularly remarkable and would be in almost any generation. Charles was an early resister. So far as I know he never said a stupid thing, never an embarrassing thing, never an ignoble or undignified utterance. He had plenty of opportunities. He was a fixture on television talk shows, in books, and in the public prints. In those places all he did was become the most gifted spokesman of his time.

The one thing holding back people who have resisted supporting Trump or at least the major thing is the fear of what a Clinton presidency would do to the Supreme Court and how it would change it for a generation.”

Krauthammer's Min. Wage Plan Is a Bad Idea

It's Not Honorable for Guvs to Expand Medicaid

Right Scoop Staff

Krauthammer said that Obamacare is the law of the land via the SCOTUS and that it is honorable for Rick Scott to accept Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion in FL. But Mark Levin says that’s not true at all, that the one battle we won against Obamacare was when the SCOTUS ruled that states don’t have to accept the Medicaid expansion.

Jeffrey Lord, American Spectator

The American Spectator agrees: Dr. Krauthammer is wrong and CHQ chairman Richard Viguerie is right: the current series of GOP internal disputes is not about tactics. It's about shared goals. And when moderate R's repeatedly try and talk the conservative talk while their programmatic body language says exactly to the contrary — they compound the problem by undermining their own credibility.

GOP Civil War A MSM Myth?
