We urge CHQ readers and friends to call their Representative (the toll-free Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044), tell your Representative American workers deserve a raise. Tell your Representative to vote NO on H.R. 1044 or any other bill that increases the importation of cheap foreign labor to compete with American workers and put downward pressure on American wages.

California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state and given those numbers, it should surprise no one that the formerly “Golden State” is now officially the poverty capital of America. California — not Mississippi, New Mexico, or West Virginia — has the highest poverty rate in the United States.

While the White House proposal technically ends chain migration and the lottery, it uses ALL those visas to bring in the 4 million people on the visa waiting list. That means current immigration levels will continue for the next 10-15 years or more AND amnesty will be granted to a minimum of 1.8 million illegals. These are permanent changes to America's electorate. If this passes the Trump proposal will make Republicans a permanent minority party and limited government constitutional conservatism a soon-to-be extinct philosophy of government.

The current level of immigration, even without amnesty, will add nearly 15 million new Left-leaning voters to our polity. Add to that amnesty for millions of mostly Mexican and Central American DACA beneficiaries and Trump will make Republicans a permanent minority party and limited government constitutional conservatism a soon-to-be extinct philosophy of government.

On September 18, 2017 Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) delivered the address at Hillsdale College’s Eighth Annual Constitution Day Celebration. His address “Immigration in the National Interest” is one of the most powerful analyses we have seen of why President Trump won the election and the power of economic nationalism.
The Washington Post Joins The Elitist War On Country Class America
“Americans have a fundamental, decent, and just demand: that the people they elect defend their interests. And every issue to come before us in the coming months will have to pass this test: does this strengthen, or weaken, the position of the everyday, loyal American citizen?” The inhumanely elitist views expressed in The Washington Post’s editorial “Don’t Fall for Trump’s Pivot” fail – grossly – to meet that test.
If Hillary wins, expect the Gang of Eight to ride again
The legislative dynamics of immigration reform will be framed by the presidential race, and the two candidates could not provide a sharper contrast on the contentious issue.
How Many Innocent Americans Will Paul Ryan’s Immigration Policies Kill?
Paul Ryan, you and arrogant politicians like you are responsible for the murders of Jeremy Waters, Michael Capps, Clint Harter, Austin Harter and Randy J. Nordman, and the many that will undoubtedly follow, because your cowardice and political correctness allows illegal aliens like Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino to legally escape custody and stay in America. And you want another term in Congress?
Rick Santorum’s Bizarre and Hypocritical Endorsement of Marco Rubio
Rick Santorum attempted to present himself as an advocate for the all but forgotten interests of America’s working men and women, yet when Santorum exited the campaign he hypocritically chose to endorse Senator Marco Rubio – the leading advocate of open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens; the very policies that Santorum campaigned against.
Steve King: Marco Rubio Continues to Embrace Gang of Eight Bill in Its Entirety
In the interview, Breitbart News’ Washington Political Editor Matthew Boyle brought up Rubio’s recent declaration that illegal immigrants should be allowed to remain in the country. King, who was one of the fiercest opponents of the 2013 Rubio-Schumer bill, said: “What he [Rubio] has done is he’s embraced the Gang of Eight bill in the core of its entirety. The Gang of Eight bill was always about amnesty.”
Rubio Isn’t Backing Down On Support For Amnesty
Just in case you thought Marco Rubio’s conflicting statements about his support for “comprehensive immigration reform,” signaled a change in his position on amnesty for illegal aliens, Rubio’s performance on NBC’s “Meet the Press" this past Sunday settled that question once and for all. He’s still for amnesty.
Gang Of Eight Defines Marco Rubio’s Conservativism
Rubio’s support for mass immigration and amnesty is a key part of his political philosophy and the other good things about him don’t change that. Right now, immigration is the fundamental issue of the Republican primary and has galvanized the base. To downplay it is to stick your head in the sand and hope Rubio’s opposition to the Export-Import bank wins over the pitchfork crowd.
Jeff Sessions sets record straight on Ted Cruz and immigration
The Senate’s foremost opponent of amnesty addresses the current spat between Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, providing a detailed history of the Gang of Eight. Sessions says unequivocally that Cruz was vital in defeating amnesty. A must watch.
Marco Rubio’s Cynical Ploy on the Trans-Pacific Partnership
Marco Rubio has made a career out of talking a good game on the conservative agenda and then giving a charming puppy dog smile as he abandons that agenda and throws his support to Big Government anti-constitutional, anti-conservative policies. He did it as a member of the Gang of Eight on amnesty, and he’s doing it once again as he “distances himself” from the TPP and pretends to mull the pros and cons of a bill that will destroy the quality of life for millions of American families. Click here to sign our petition to defeat the TPP and protect American sovereignty and jobs.
Can we trust Marco Rubio on immigration?
Conservatives will want to hear more from Rubio — on Obama’s executive amnesty, on guest workers, on the pathway to citizenship — but making these two assurances wouldn’t contradict anything Rubio has said over the past year, and it would at least alleviate concern that his new approach is boob bait for Bubba in the GOP primaries. But the doubts will never go away, nor should they.
Of Course Paul Ryan Would Push Amnesty Through Congress, But There’s More…
Along with Paul Ryan’s personal qualities and capabilities comes an unfortunate willingness to destroy the quality of life for millions of American families by advancing the unlimited immigration policies advocated by the establishment Republican Party’s corporate paymasters.
Republican Suicide Equals National Suicide
The Republican Party is dead unless Republicans honor their clear duty to defend the core interests of the American workers who form the backbone of this nation. House Republicans should tell the President’s CEO lobbyists, loudly for all to hear: we don’t work for you; we work for the American people. Click here to demand your Congressman sign our "No Amnesty Pledge" today.
GOP Ceding Ground on Immigration
By failing to press the other side of the argument on amnesty, Republicans are hurting their cause.
Chuck Norris Takes On Marco Rubio
Florida Senator Marco Rubio, whose advocacy of the Senate’s hated Gang of Eight amnesty for illegal aliens bill knocked him out of the top level of contention in the CHQ straw poll and national polls, tied with write-in candidate actor and Second Amendment advocate Chuck Norris with one vote in the week’s CHQ Republican presidential straw poll balloting.
