Trump agenda

A Political Hit on Steve Bannon

The misuse of our government institutions to go after political enemies is incredibly disturbing. The swamp, despite a few years of draining is still very deep. It is obvious that these actions are attempts to silence Steve Bannon and conservatives through intimidation. Using the legal process to try and take away an opponent’s liberty and right to Free Speech is shameful. Conservatives must fight back.

A Potential Landslide Agenda

Scott McKay, The American Spectator

There isn’t a lot in here that looks like a political risk. This feels a lot like a reprise of Nixon’s successful 1968 campaign. It’s a law-and-order message in a time of political chaos, and it’s an open appeal to middle-class people of color who bristle at the idea they’re obligated to endorse the radical politics of the street. Properly articulated, this agenda could pull a political landslide and even grow some coattails. But Trump is going to want to resist the temptation to dunk on Biden in every news cycle, because an agenda like this can speak for itself and win.

Conservatives Rally Behind Admiral Ronny Jackson In Texas Congressional District 13 GOP Primary Runoff

The latest major conservative group to join CHQ Chairman Richard A Viguerie in backing Admiral Ronny Jackson is the pro-economic liberty Club for Growth PAC. Admiral Jackson has also been endorsed by Texas conservative groups like Texas Right to Life, as well as veterans groups and Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller. Jackson recently received the endorsement of fellow veteran U.S. Rep. Steve Stivers of Ohio, a former chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Endorsement: Admiral Ronny Jackson For Congress, Texas-13

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
The July 14 Texas runoff election (postponed from May 26) is fast approaching and one of the most important opportunities to elect a MAGA conservative to Congress is in the Lone Star State’s Thirteenth District, where retired Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson is facing-off against lobbyist Josh Winegarner.

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman

Biggest Conservative Policy Successes In Trump Era Come From Cooperation, Not Resistance

Mollie Hemingway, The Federalist

Whether it’s tax cuts, tax reform, regulatory reform, or tackling the disruptions to the labor market caused by illegal immigration, easing up the constraints on an economy and its laborers can have important, real-world effects. A lot of ink is spilled on who resists Trump, but the biggest successes of the current administration have come when traditionally Republican-aligned groups realized President Trump presented a huge opportunity for them if they would just reach out and work with him and his administration. As with previous Republican presidents, these groups found it better to work together when priorities aligned rather than focusing on any disagreements.

Trump To Address Most Important Immigration Issue

We believe President Trump’s willingness to take on the assimilation issue comes from his own deep sense of patriotism and love of country, and his own family’s immigrant story. We are 100 percent in favor of a strong and effective assimilation program being included in any immigration reform plan put forth by the President.

The Turtle Wants To Move On… To What?

Conservatives applaud Majority Leader McConnell’s words of support for President Trump and for his demand that Democrats end the obstruction and publicly funded conspiracy theory propagation. The problem we see is that McConnell has not specified what action he plans to take to move the Trump agenda forward.

Mining CSPAN for Democrat Impeachment Gold

To put the Democrats’ hypocrisy on what is and is not an impeachable offense in context, our friend Ben Weingarten compared comments made by Rep. Jerold Nadler following the release of the sentencing memorandum for the president’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, with what Nadler said during the Bill Clinton impeachment.

The Democrats’ Delusions Drive The Trump Impeachment Narrative

Democrats have convinced themselves that Donald Trump’s election was fraud, not a revolution against the Leftwing establishment consensus in Washington. So, while the narrative has shifted from Russian collusion to real or imagined campaign finance violations, the underlying concept that Donald Trump was “fraudulently” elected President hasn’t shifted at all.

Mark Meadows For White House Chief Of Staff

The most important job President Trump’s next Chief of Staff has is not making the trains run on time – it is making the trains deliver on President Trump’s agenda to ensure his reelection. Priebus and Kelly both failed in that important part of the job, Mark Meadows is the only name that has surfaced who can deliver on it in the face of a hostile Nancy Pelosi-led Congress.

Run Like Kevin McCarthy Fight Like Jim Jordan

Rep. McCarthy claims to have the right instincts and the right tools; he could be, not just a good leader, but a great leader, if he adopts Jim Jordan’s platform of keeping the GOP’s promises and fighting for conservative principles and President Trump’s conservative – populist agenda at every turn in the legislative process.

Jim Jordan’s Most Important Qualifications For Minority Leader

Jim Jordan proved in founding the Freedom Caucus is that he’s up for the fight, and that is the most important qualification for Minority Leader. Kevin McCarthy and his establishment allies are much more worried about looking good to their friends at the country club than they are fighting for conservative principles, especially when the immediate chances of winning are slim.

Democrats Being Themselves

Conservatives wondering what the future holds for the upcoming 116th Congress should wonder no more and simply take Democrats at their word as to their plans. This means a very full agenda of harassing President Trump, pursuing conspiracy theories, raising taxes and restricting your freedom.

Jim Jordan: House GOP Leaders Blew 2018 Election

Democrats are going to spend the next two years harassing President Trump and offering free stuff to voters. The only thing Republicans have that can beat free is keeping the promises made in the 2016 election. We urge CHQ readers and friends to sign our letter to newly elected Republicans urging them to vote for Jim Jordan for House Minority Leader.

Memo To New GOP House Members: Kevin McCarthy Is Too Dumb And Inept To Be Minority Leader

Rep. Kevin McCarthy is just plain too dumb and incoherent to effectively speak for the Republican minority, let alone lead Republicans to regain the majority. We urge CHQ readers and friends to sign our letter to newly elected Republicans urging them to vote for Jim Jordan for House Minority Leader and call their Republican Representative TODAY to urge him or her to vote for Jim Jordan when the House Republican Conference meets.

Jim Jordan For Speaker By The Numbers

As we have often said, no voter in their right mind – and these polls show the conservative voters the GOP needs to win are more attuned than ever – is going to vote to continue Paul Ryan’s legacy of betrayals, lies and failures.

The New York Times Belatedly Discovers The Deep State

We hope the publication of the anonymous op-ed in The New York Times galvanizes the President to cull out those establishment Republican hacks, Democrats and Deep State operatives who have been slow walking his policies, but until he puts someone who shares his agenda in charge of White House Personnel that is unlikely to happen.

Trump Gets The Message: Conservative Grassroots Demand Speaker Jordan

President Trump just got the message, now it is time for Republican congressional candidates to wake up. If Republican congressional candidates want to win, they need to associate themselves with the one congressional leader who fights every day to pass President Trump’s 2016 MAGA agenda – Rep. Jim Jordan.
