Tim Walz Goes Hunting For Votes, Hilarity Ensues

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, took to the fields for Minnesota’s opening day of pheasant hunting season, with Walz inviting members of the

press to document the occasion.

To say that the hunt did not go well would be an understatement.

The first indication that Walz was unlikely to bag a pheasant, or any new voters for the Harris-Walz ticket, was the Governor’s struggle to load his expensive Beretta shotgun.

In addition to the hilarious reactions to Walz’s handling of his shotgun many pointed out a $2,000+ imported gun was kind of an odd choice for retired teacher and old “aw shucks” Midwestern bird hunter like the Governor.

And then there was the commentary focused on Walz’s possible violation of firearms and hunting laws.

Even cringier was Governor Walz’s lame foray into “bro culture” talking about “pounding” a Diet Mountain Dew.

Oh, and there was one other hilarious thing. To make a bad day even worse, not only did Walz not bag a bird, he never even fired his gun.
