We Endorse Cameron Hamilton In The Virginia Congressional District 7 GOP Primary – Vote Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18

Updated: Jun 17

Cameron Hamilton is one of six Republicans vying for the party’s nomination to represent

Virginia’s 7th Congressional District in the House of Representatives. The seat is currently held by Democrat Abigail Spanberger, who has opted to run for governor instead of another term in Congress.

There are many reasons CHQ Chairman Richard A Viguerie, Virginia’s longtime Republican National Committeeman Morton Blackwell, Commissioner Yesli Vega and principled limited government constitutional conservative Del. Nick Freitas, and a long list of conservative All Stars in Congress, have endorsed Cameron Hamilton in the crowded Virginia Congressional District 7 Republican Primary Election to be conducted tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18.

As Mr. Hamilton explained in an interview with the Daily Progress, “…I’ve worked in the federal government for three different agencies under four different administrations. And I’ve seen the same kind of bureaucratic sickness that our government is plagued with… I was a division director at my last job, I’ve worked at the tactical level in the Navy SEAL teams, I’ve worked at the management level within DHS, and none of the solutions that I would hope to bring about are able to be achieved as a civil servant. They’re achieved in the political space.”

Naturally, we like Cameron Hamilton’s experience in the Department of Homeland Security and as a combat veteran and Navy SEAL, and his commitment to Judeo-Christian values, but the recognition that the disasters facing America today are not the inevitable progression of society, but politician-made disasters, is one crucial difference between Cameron Hamilton and his opponents in the GOP primary.

As Rep Scott Perry (PA-10), the former Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, said in his endorsement of Cameron Hamilton, "Cameron Hamilton is the clear choice for conservatives in Virginia’s 7th. Cameron will stand firmly for much-needed fiscal responsibility, border security, and defense of our Constitutional rights - for starters. While I was humbled to serve our Nation in a nearly 40-year Army career culminating at the rank of Brigadier General, the Navy SEAL in this race is the principled conservative who will make the hard right decisions over the easy wrongs.  I’m proud to endorse Cameron Hamilton as the next U.S. Representative of Virginia’s 7th Congressional District."

Virginia’s Seventh District Republican Primary will occur on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
