AAF and Mass Deportation Coalition Launch FireThune.Com

Our friends at the American Accountability Foundation and the Mass Deportation Coalition have launched a new online investigation and website exposing Senate Republican Majority Leader John Thune’s 1.5 million reasons to kill the SAVE America election integrity bill.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has taken more than $1.5 million over his career from the four industries that run on cheap foreign and illegal labor. For two years he's told the base he supports the SAVE Act. He has never forced the fight.

As Majority Leader, John Thune sets the Senate calendar. The bill has passed the House multiple times and died in the Senate — without a fight.

$1,580,276

That’s what the construction, hospitality, agriculture, and elder-care lobbies have given this Judas and his Heartland Values PAC over his career — the four sectors whose business model depends on a steady supply of cheap labor.

Agriculture: $518,900

Construction: $487,000

Hospitality: $402,876

Elder Care: $171,500

These industries are not neutral on immigration. They are the financial engine behind the DIGNITY Act — the mass-legalization bill its backers brand “earned legal status” and critics correctly call amnesty.

Every group mentioned above has formally endorsed the DIGNITY Act amnesty. The Home Builders' BUILD PAC alone has cut Thune 26 separate checks since 2009. The National Restaurant Association — which endorsed the DIGNITY Act in June 2026 — has given across 17 checks stretching to 2026.

These are not one-time donations. They are decades-long relationships that are killing what may be our last best chance to save this country from being swamped in a tidal wave of anti-American Third World immigrants, both legal and illegal.

The SAVE Act — requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote — passed the House and stalled in the Senate. Not one member of leadership has been willing to do the hard thing: hold the floor, force a talking filibuster, and make the country watch the other side block it. As Majority Leader, Thune mounts exactly that kind of fight for his own priorities. He has never mounted it for the SAVE Act.

The SAVE America Act is about three simple, common-sense protections:

  • Proof of citizenship to register to vote
  • Voter ID to cast a ballot
  • Clean, accurate voter rolls

That’s it. Fair. Secure. Transparent. And yet—it’s being blocked. The tipping point comes when the pressure is too strong to ignore. When citizens across the country speak with one voice and demand action.

"Common sense requirements to prove your eligibility to vote in federal elections are not Jim Crow 2.0," the late Sen. Lindsey Graham once explained. "Every time we try to bring rationality to the debate around illegal immigration, the Democrats let the radical, left-wing nut jobs take over for them, but they won't for us."

An aggressive enforcement regime, anchored by mandatory E-Verify, would be a death knell for the cheap-labor business model. The donors know it. So they pay to keep enforcement theoretical and amnesty alive — and Senate Majority Leader John Thune – the one man who could force the issue – keeps the SAVE Act off the floor.

We urge all CHQ readers and friends to share this important information widely. Forward this message to your family, friends, neighbors, church and civic club mailing lists and encourage them to call their Senators TODAY. The Capitol switchboard is (202) 224-3121, enlist everyone you know to "up the pressure" on the Senate by calling out Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s $1.5 million ties to the four industries whose business model depends on killing the SAVE Act to keep a steady supply of cheap labor.
