Congressman Randy Fine Is Right

Representative Randy Fine (FL-06) is no stranger to controversy. Congressman Fine’s post to X that “If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one,” was vintage Randy Fine, and put in context hard to argue against.

An outspoken supporter of Israel and one of the few Florida elected officials to endorse Donald Trump over Governor Ron DeSantis, Randy Fine is a bold practitioner of smash mouth politics as practiced on the east coast of Florida, where immigrants from New York, Boston and Philadelphia brought the rough and tumble of their big city politics to the Sunshine State.

So, when it came to light that Muslims in New York are now demanding that pet dogs be prohibited to everyone, because indoor dogs are “haram” or prohibited by Sharia to Muslims, Rep. Fine’s response was not just predictable, it was applauded and retweeted by thousands of Americans who don’t want Sharia imposed upon them.

Predicably, Democrats and other Muslim-aligned interests went nuts and demanded Rep. Fine be censured or expelled from the House of Representatives, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) in a statement Tuesday called Fine “a disgrace to the United States Congress” and “an Islamophobic, disgusting bigot.”

However, in the context of what Muslims say about Christians and Jews, Randy Fine’s remark was simply matching insult to insult.

For example:

And this:

And another:

And one more:

Rep. Randy Fine is right, not because returning insult for insult to your political and cultural enemies is always a good idea, but because he recognizes, as few other American politicians do, that this is how Islam creeps into a country and begins to impose Sharia and its values upon the soon-to-be devoured host.
