The explosion of trans-identification among young people is transforming American society, as a result there are many cases of people who identify as transgender threatening violence and even committing acts of violence against people who disagree with them. Sign the petition, led by the Heritage Foundation and the Oversight Project, to tell the FBI it is past time to designate this network a domestic terrorist group.

The Oversight Project and Heritage Foundation have been leaders in identifying the domestic terrorism perpetrated by adherents radicalized by transgender ideology-inspired violence and extremism.

It’s time for the FBI and our government to put political correctness aside and do what needs to be done. Join us in urging the FBI to add a new designation to their list of domestic violent extremist groups for Transgender Ideology-Inspired Violent Extremism or TIVEs. This designation would allow for the FBI to access a new suite of tools to counter this threat and monitor this threat.

Although the nature and magnitude of these threats have mutated over time, violent extremism, regardless of the form it takes, remains an omnipresent risk.  TIVE is based on the belief that violence is justified against those who do not share radical views of transgender ideology. It has led to an increasing trend of TIVE domestic terrorist events across the country. In recent years, TIVE has played a role in the majority of mass shootings at schools. Early evidence indicates TIVE also played a role in the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

If the FBI were to adopt “TIVE” as a new category of domestic terrorism, the bureau could bring to bear “immense legal, intelligence, and law enforcement tools.” That includes “gathering intelligence on other individuals that share ideological commonalities to predict future attacks.”

What that would mean in practice: using human sources, network mapping, undercover operations, and data analysis against those it deems suspect. It could allow the FBI, with probable cause, to investigate individuals and organizations as security threats and place them under surveillance.

However, this would only apply when someone is “motivated by an ideology that encourages, promotes, or condones violence” while “inciting unlawful violent action or threat.”

For example, this would give the FBI more latitude to investigate the founder of Armed Queers SLC, a pro-gun LGBTQ group with possible ties to accused Charlie Kirk sniper Tyler Robinson, who has been identified as a radical transgender political organizer with ties to communist politics.

Ermiya Fanaeian, a founder of Armed Queers SLC, advocated violence to achieve the aims of LGBTQ groups, citing the Stonewall Riots as an example in a TV interview on the campus of University of Utah. “Sometimes violence, protest, and really riots and those kinds of loud rebellions must take place for tangible change,” he said.

The New York Post reported Fanaeian founded Armed Queers SLC, which hosted a lecture on “queer resistance” at the University of Utah in September 2023 — about 45 miles from UVU where the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was killed.

Flyers promoting the event hosted in partnership with self-described “leftist student organization” Mecha de U of U feature a young woman clad in two ammo belts and clutching an AK-47, with her finger on the trigger.

Fanaeian also helped launch a student study group for the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), with a curriculum that includes names like Karl Marx and Vladmir Lenin. According to reporting by the New York Post, Fanaeian’s inspiration to form the group came from “historical communist and socialist revolutionaries of the mid 1900s” including Fidel Castro and the Black Panther Party, according to the university’s student newspaper, the Daily Utah Chronicle. The Party for Socialism and Liberation is not a liberal movement — we are a leftist movement,” Fanaeian told the outlet. “We are an anti-capitalist movement. We are a working-class revolutionary movement.

Conservatives have been calling on the FBI to make this designation for years. It will allow our government to detect, disrupt, and dismantle TIVE cells in the United States in order to mitigate against the ongoing domestic terrorism threat. This designation does not mean that all transgender individuals are domestic terror threats, but instead narrowly focuses on those who adopt the worldview that violence is justified against those who disagree with transgender ideology.

Sign the petition, led by the Heritage Foundation and the Oversight Project, to show your government that the American People have strength in numbers. Our government can only confront the threat when it is ready to name it. It is time to do what needs to be done to keep us all safe from the violence of transgender ideology.
