In an article titled, “‘Don’s Best Friend’: How Epstein and Trump Bonded Over the Pursuit of Women,” the New York Times, Patient Zero for Trump Derangement Syndrome, managed prove once again that Donald Trump had nothing to do with convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.
The article, written by Times reporters Nicholas Confessore and Julie Tate, was compiled through interviews with “more than 30 former employees of Jeffrey Epstein, victims of his abuse and others who crossed paths with Mr. Epstein and President Trump.” The Times also cited “new documents” to provide additional details on Trump’s “relationship” with Epstein.
As our friends at Trending Politics observed, much of the article takes old quotes and photos dating back to the 1990s in order to paint the picture of a close relationship between Trump and Epstein. It does, however, quietly note that Epstein “had a talent for acquiring powerful friends” before outright admitting that there is no evidence linking Trump to any of Epstein’s crimes.
However, buried deep in the article the authors admit, “An examination of their history by The New York Times has found no evidence implicating Mr. Trump in Mr. Epstein’s abuse and trafficking of minors.” You can read the article free through this link.
But that did not deter the Democrats, who circulated documents in which the name of a prominent Epstein accuser was redacted, using the material to suggest Trump’s involvement in Epstein’s crimes.
The accuser was later identified as Virginia Giuffre, who testified under oath that Trump had no involvement in Epstein’s criminal activity.
Giuffre, who died earlier this year, had publicly stated that Trump was not among those who abused her.
She was also a supporter of President Trump’s 2024 campaign and praised his actions related to Epstein’s prosecution, noted RVMNews.com.
The Democrats, desperate to tar Trump with any association with Epstein, even released an email in which Epstein says Trump was one of the worst people he knew, with “not one decent cell in his body.”
After proving once again that Donald Trump had nothing to do with Epstein’s crimes the Democrats and their Leftwing allies in the media did manage to bag one prize: Bill Clinton.
Former President Bill Clinton featured prominently in the first batch of files released Friday by the Justice Department stemming from its investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
There were a number of photos of Clinton among the thousands of documents made public. Some showed him on a private plane, including one with a woman, seated alongside him with her arm around him. Another photo shows him in a pool with Epstein’s longtime confidant, British socialite and now-convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and another person.
Another photo shows Clinton in a hot tub with an unidentified woman.
When Clinton was president, Epstein visited the White House multiple times, visitor logs show. After he left office, Epstein assisted with some of the former president’s “philanthropy.” Clinton flew multiple times on Epstein’s private jet, including on an alleged humanitarian trip to Africa with indicted sex pest Kevin Spacey and actor Chris Tucker in 2002.
The Associated Press reported Republicans on the House Oversight Committee had subpoenaed both Bill and Hillary Clinton for depositions earlier this year, but received a response that the Clintons wanted to provide a written statement of what “little information” they had on Epstein.
The Republican chair of the committee, Rep. James Comer, has demanded they appear for in-person testimonies and threatened to initiate contempt of Congress proceedings if they don’t.
