Votes were still being counted in Michigan when we went to bed last night, where Democratic voters were deciding a U.S. Senate primary pitting a radical Muslim Democratic Socialist against a Nancy Pelosi-style Democrat Congresswoman. With rabid anti-Semite Abdul El-Sayed ahead by as much as three points, Michigan’s famously corrupt Democrat election officials declared the race “too close to call” with 95% of the vote in.
While the Rep. Haley Stevens vs. Abdul El-Sayed Senate race garnered all the attention, at least one key November race in Michigan will feature a left-wing candidate allied with Bernie Sanders.
Democratic socialist and climate activist William Lawrence won a three-way primary in Michigan’s 7th District, after two more establishment-oriented candidates — former US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and Navy SEAL veteran Matt Maasdam — split the rest of the vote, reported MSN.com.
With the vote counting still going on Democrats were faced with a big problem: Do they deploy the corrupt election manipulation tools they used against Donald Trump in 2020 to knock El-Sayed out of the race, and thereby infuriate his army of highly motivated Socialist activists?
Or should they let the vote counting play out, knowing that Congresswoman Haley Stevens is going to lose, and they are going to be stuck with a rabid anti-Semite and closet Communist as their likely losing Senate candidate?
Early this morning we go our answer when NBC News called the race for El-Sayed.
For a look at where the fall campaign is headed, we note Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., barnstormed the state for El-Sayed, whose push for “Medicare for All,” condemnation of money in politics and criticism of Stevens for supporting aid to Israel, coupled with regular bursts of anti-Semitism, were central to his campaign.
To give you some flavor of El-Sayed’s arrogance in the face of criticism of his anti-Semitism, he spent the night before Election Day at a pool party with fellow Muslim Communist anti-Semite streamer Hasan Piker, sparking pushback from the Stevens campaign, the wisemen of the Democratic establishment, and Republicans.
Democratic strategist James Carville had, just days before, ripped into Far-Left Muslim terrorism apologist Hasan Piker, saying that if he shapes himself into a force within the Democratic Party, “I’m out of here.”
“To talk about the larger Democratic Party, post the election in Michigan going forward, I am not going to be in the same party with Hasan Piker,” Carville said on Fox News’s “The Sunday Briefing.
Fox News reported the event was hosted by a content creator in Detroit, Michigan, and was attended by progressive House candidates Melat Kiros and Chris Rabb, both members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), The Associated Press reported.
Michigan Democratic state Rep. Donavan McKinney was also reportedly in attendance.
Piker, who has roughly 10 million followers across multiple social media platforms, has made multiple appearances on the campaign trail with El-Sayed, raising questions about the ideological similarities between the two, noted the FOX News online team.
"I never would and never will criticize Mao Zedong," Piker said earlier this year in a clip that recently resurfaced on social media. "One of the great leaders of this world."
Piker has also said in the past that "America deserved 9/11" and has made controversial comments about Hamas and the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Hours before the pool party, Piker was at a campaign event with El-Sayed where a reporter asked him if he plans to campaign with the progressive Senate candidate after Tuesday night’s primary.
"Are you crazy?" Piker responded. "Of course."
