Does ANTIFA Terrorism Indictment Lead To Charlie Kirk Assassination Conspiracy?

A federal grand jury indicted two alleged Antifa members with terrorism-related charges for a July 4 attack on an ICE facility in Texas. And newly disclosed information drops some hints that there is a connection to the assassination of TurningPoint USA founder Charlie Kirk.

"For the first time ever, the FBI has arrested anarchist violent extremists and charged these Antifa-aligned individuals with material support to terrorism," FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement released to CHQ.

"We are executing under President Trump's new authorities at record speed. To date, the FBI has made over 20 arrests tied to this case and related Antifa networks. No one gets to harm law enforcement. Not on our watch," Patel added.

Attorney General Pam Bondi also hailed the charges, vowing further prosecutions against Antifa members, FOX News reported.

Cameron Arnold and Zachary Evetts were indicted for providing material support for terrorism, attempting to murder federal and assisting officers and discharging firearms during attempted murders.

In July 2025, members of an ANTIFA cell, including Arnold and Evetts, ambushed officers at an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas. After defacing vehicles with anti-ICE graffiti — including “ICE pig” and “F— you pigs” — the assailants lured officers out of the building and opened fire, shooting one officer in the neck.

In all 10 members of the ANTIFA cell are accused of trying to lure out officers to shoot and kill. They were heavily armed with rifles, pistols and body armor.

Here’s how the ambush went down according to reporting by Mike Shelby (@grayzoneintel):

…based on the number of weapons recovered, it could have been much worse. It sounds like some would-be shooters chickened out.

10:57pm: 10-12 individuals dressed in black begin shooting fireworks towards the Prairieland Detention Center.

10:58pm: 2x unarmed Correctional Officers approach the vandals.

10:59pm: Alvarado Police officers arrive.

10:59pm: 2x shooters engage police officers from about 100-150m, expending 20-30 rounds of 5.56 ammunition from AR platforms. At least one rifle jams, and the two shooting suspects flee to the west. Shortly after, police apprehend seven suspects in a field west of the shooting positions. Police also find 2x AR-15 style rifles abandoned in a nearby woodline. Some were wearing body armor, carrying weapons, and had radios. A total of 12x sets of ballistic vests are later discovered in the area.

Additionally, a Johnson County Sheriff's Office detective makes a traffic stop and arrests 1x suspect armed with a black pistol, 2x sets of body armor, and 1x ballistic helmet. An additional 2x AR-15s are found in the backseats of the van. The suspect is also carrying a radio.

Now, here’s an important link in the larger conspiracy: The participants in the Alvarado ambush were allegedly trained by Benjamin Song, who was also allegedly a member of a militant ANTIFA gang called the “John Brown Gun Club,” Song was later captured after a nationwide manhunt.

John Brown Gun Clubs (JBGC) are one of the national firearms training mechanisms for ANTIFA and other aligned revolutionary groups.

After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, law enforcement sources told the New York Post that investigators are looking into the Armed Queers of Salt Lake City (AQSLC) to see whether it had helped alleged assassin Tyler Robinson or at least was aware of the assassination plot.

The Washington Examiner reported Ermiya Fanaeian, a transgender woman of color and formerly a diversity director at the University of Utah, founded AQSLC. Fanaeian has publicly advocated for political violence. In an interview with a Utah TV station, she said, “I absolutely agree that sometimes violence, really riots, and those kinds of loud rebellions must take place for tangible change.”

AQSLC held a lecture on “queer resistance” at the University of Utah, approximately 45 miles away from the scene of Kirk’s assassination on Utah Valley University’s campus.

A flyer promoting the 2023 event depicted an activist holding an AK-47 rifle with her finger on the trigger in violation of a fundamental firearm safety rule. “AGITATE” appeared at the top of the promotional material. AQSLC’s seminar was sponsored by an antifascist student club formed to combat the school’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter. Young America’s Foundation, the latter’s parent organization, is similar to Kirk’s conservative student group Turning Point USA.

Two years ago, AQSLC hosted educational workshops on “protecting oppressed people’s movements” with the Texas-based Elm Fork branch of the John Brown Gun Club, an antifascist cohort inspired by a radical pre-Civil War abolitionist.

Alleged ringleader Benjamin Hanil Song, codename “Delete,” is a former Marine reservist with documented connections to the JBGC Elm Fork chapter. Archived video footage shows Song, charged with furnishing four firearms used in the Alvarado plot, providing weapons training to ANTIFA militants in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Through Song it appears JBGC’s Elm Fork chapter has ties to the Texas ANTIFA cell accused of ambushing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Alvarado, Texas and the Charlie Kirk assassination.
