Is the closure of the China Aerospace Studies Institute and, apparently, its Navy and Army counterparts, part of a wider effort to appease the Chinese Communist Party during Xi Jinping’s state visit here this week? Our Committee on the Present Danger: China critically examined such prospects in the course of a two-hour special on Steve Bannon’s War Room program.
What’s clear is that the U.S. military needs more and better insights into the evolving Chinese menace. And Xi needs to be disabused of any notion that we will be unilaterally disarming in his longstanding “unrestricted warfare” against us – which must end now.
