Yesterday’s planned release of the Epstein Files held by the FBI and the Department of Justice turned out to be rather anticlimactic – although a large group of conservative journalists and “influencers” left the White House with binders labeled “Epstein files” Attorney General Pam Bondi released what amounted to nothing more than Jeffrey Epstein’s phone book.

Even so, Rogan O’Handley, who goes by the name “DC Draino” on X, told the New York Post he and the other right-wing influencers were handed the binders during a meeting with President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel.
“This is the most transparent administration in American history,” O’Handley claimed. “The best part? This is just the start. AG Bondi confirmed there are thousands more Epstein File documents being secretly held in the SDNY and they will be delivered to the DOJ in DC by February 28.”“People will be going to jail for what they’ve done,” added the influencer, who has more than 2.1 million followers on X.
Chaya Raichik, who has a follower count of 4.3 million on her “Libs of TikTok” X account, was also welcomed into the West Wing, along with conservative influencers Liz Wheeler, Emily Austin and Jack Posobiec.
Asked why the information had not already been released, AG Bondi told Fox News' Jesse Watters on Wednesday that her department was working on protecting the personal information of more than 250 victims connected to Epstein.
"We have to make sure that their identity is protected and their personal information," she said. "Other than that, I think tomorrow, Jesse, breaking news right now, you're going to see some Epstein information being released by my office."
Asked if the Department of Justice would be releasing a list of Epstein's clients, Bondi said on Friday, February 21: "It's sitting on my desk right now to review. That's been a directive by President Trump."
But the Thursday release proved deflating to those looking for answers into who facilitated and participated in Epstein’s sordid empire.
It turned out that the FBI was still stonewalling the new Attorney General and the new Director.
Attorney General Bondi was forced to give a direct order for the handover to proceed.
And the delay left both the public and Members of Congress unhappy, to put it mildly.
The limited scope of the release drew criticism from transparency advocates including Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), who leads a House GOP task force on government transparency.
“I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today … A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook,” Luna tweeted.
“THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR and a complete disappointment. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!”
The overhyping of the Thursday release was not a great look for the new AG and FBI Director, we urge them to get the New York FBI office under control and make good on the promised release TODAY.
