Late yesterday the Trump FBI seized the 2020 election ballots in the Fulton County, Georgia elections office as part of a judicially approved raid. Potentially fraudulent 2020 election ballots are now in the custody of the FBI.
This is absolutely massive and Democrats are in a total meltdown.
And they have been fighting the FBI and are looking for ways to quash the investigation.
The UK’s Guardian reported the warrant obtained by the FBI sought all ballots from the 2020 election in Fulton County, tabulator tapes, ballot images and voter rolls, according to documents reviewed by its reporters.
The warrant also suggests the alleged criminal conduct involved retaining records and tabulating false ballots.
The court order signed by Magistrate Judge Catherine M. Salinas authorized agents to seize all physical ballots from the 2020 election in Fulton County, all ballot images and Fulton County’s 2020 voter rolls. A copy of the order was given to the Georgia Recorder by a House lawmaker.
The Associated Press reported FBI agents secured an area around the large warehouse building that houses the county elections hub with yellow tape and could be seen loading boxes from the building into trucks. FBI spokesperson Jenna Sellitto confirmed that the boxes contained ballots.
“We are aware of the ongoing law enforcement activity involving the FBI at the Fulton County warehouse,” said Cae’Lenthya Moore, the executive assistant to Fulton County Clerk Ché Alexander. “At this time, we are only aware of activities involving the warehouse location.”
Fulton County Commissioner Mo Ivory said that the initial warrant was “incorrect legally” and challenged on the scene by county officials. The FBI subsequently obtained a corrected warrant. The county’s clerk of superior court, Che Alexander, is the custodian of the material and was on site at the warehouse inventorying what the FBI was taking, Ivory said.
“The commissioners, the chairman, the county attorney are trying to figure out a legal plan,” Ivory said in an Instagram reel from inside the building as FBI agents worked. “Maybe an injunction, a motion to quash, something. We’re trying to figure it out.”
At a December 2025 meeting of the Georgia State Election Board, it was revealed that poll workers did not properly sign tabulation tapes of more than 300,000 votes that were counted in the 2020 presidential election. Republicans called for a federal investigation.
It's unclear if the Wednesday raid is tied to the unsigned tabulation tapes, although tabulation tapes are listed in the warrant reported by the Guardian.
The Department of Justice sued Fulton County last month seeking access to ballots related to the 2020 election. The county is fighting the lawsuit, saying the Department of Justice has not made a valid argument for accessing them.
In the December lawsuit the U.S. Department of Justice filed against Fulton County it was alleged the county is refusing to turn over voter records from the 2020 election. Alexander, the county clerk, previously denied Justice Department officials’ request for the data according to the lawsuit, stating that the records were under seal and could not be released without a court order. She later filed a motion to dismiss the complaint.
The Justice Department has also filed its most recent lawsuit seeking Georgia’s unredacted voter data against Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger last week.
We wonder, why would the Fulton County Commissioners oppose the investigation of vote fraud in their county?
"The DOJ wrote to Fulton County in August of last year, asking for the ballots. DOJ wrote another letter in October asking again for the 2020 ballots and other records. Two weeks ago, the FBI delivered a third letter," Adams said in a statement posted to X. "But the majority of the Fulton County Board of Elections literally denied these requests. The Georgia State Election Board has been trying for 4 years to get the records. Including issuing a subpoena for the ballots and other records. And ALL of those efforts have failed. Until today," observed Fulton County Republican Party Chair Julie Adams.
Georgia GOP Chair Josh McKoon celebrated the FBI’s raid, saying that it was “long overdue.”
“Georgians have waited years for real answers about what happened in 2020,” McKoon said. “Getting every detail out, especially around ballot handling and processes in Fulton, is absolutely critical.”
Congressman Buddy Carter, who is running for Senate on the Republican side, put out a statement on social media, saying “Georgians are about to get some long-overdue answers and learn just how right President Trump was in 2020.”
Representative Mike Collins, another Republican Senate candidate, also issued a succinct statement directed at FBI Director Kash Patel.
“Go get ‘em, Kash,” he wrote, according to reporting by the Georgia Recorder.
Our friends at The Center Square and investigator Garland Favorito have been all over this story for years. Favorito, who leads the nonprofit VoterGA, has been in litigation for five years attempting to gain access to Fulton County's 2020 ballots through several lawsuits. He arrived at the scene of the raid in a celebratory mood.
"I think it's maybe our last hope at getting to see the ballots," Favorito told The Center Square. "Because both Fulton County elections and the Fulton County judicial system have prevented us from having a transparent election. Hopefully, this will be able to answer the questions that have been lingering for five years over that election."
