The Obama-Biden-Hillary Clinton policy of undermining and overthrowing secular authoritarian, but relatively stable, governments in the Middle East has now borne bitter fruit for Syria’s minority Christian, Druze and Alawite residents. Syria, once a peaceful, relatively tolerant, multiethnic and multireligious country run by the brutal dictators of the al Assad family has been turned into a killing zone by the jihadi forces that overthrew Bashar al Assad.
