Against the backdrop of a parade through Beijing’s blood-stained Tiananmen Square that testified to Communist China’s unprecedented military build-up, President Trump responded by declaring on social media that Xi, Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un are “conspiring against the United States.”
There are ominous indicators of what such a conspiracy might entail. For one thing, past pilgrimages to Beijing by Putin, Israel’s enemies and Venezuela’s Nicholas Maduro have resulted in actual, or promised, acts of “strategic arson.”
And all of these co-conspirators appear to be preparing for more such aggression by mobilizing and/or upgunning forces – and in the case of Russia, North Korea and some Iranian proxies engaging in actual attacks.
