Have you noticed that the old Leftwing establishment media never criticizes or questions the new Socialists, Communists and Islamists who now dominate the Democratic Party? This is because the old establishment media, such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times, Time, Newsweek, ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN are part of a coordinated campaign to sanitize, normalize, and romanticize history’s most dangerous and lethal ideologies.
For example, Newsweek is currently running a “little red test” that asks about oat milk, shorter workweeks, and tote bags — then scores readers on how ready they are for an “American socialist revolution.”
What they are really trying to do in this campaign is to move the Overton Window of what is acceptable on the menu of public policy options further toward the Far Left.
Thus, even if they don’t elect all of their Socialist, Communist and Islamist candidates in this election, they will start the next election cycle with millions of Americans prepared to accept that Medicare for All, open borders, mass amnesty, abolishing police and prisons, packing the Supreme Court, abolishing the Electoral College, and the Green New Deal are reasonable and responsible policy options, rather than radical attacks on constitutional liberty.
As the White House Press Office pointed out in a recent email to CHQ, there’s nothing lighthearted about the reality that this campaign is trying to hide.
Socialist and Communist regimes have killed some 100 million people through engineered famines, mass executions, and slave labor camps. And Islam is every bit as bad, if not worse, adding the oppression of women, the extinction of religious freedom, sex slavery, and death for the slightest criticism of the regime to the catalogue of misery to be imposed on Americans.
Those ideologies are now being sold to Americans as completely normal options by the Democrat Socialists of America and the Radical Left that dominates the Democrat Party. Their agenda — Medicare for All, open borders, mass amnesty, abolishing police and prisons, packing the Supreme Court, abolishing the Electoral College, and the Green New Deal chief among them — carries a staggering price, both in dollars and in loss of freedom.
A new report from the Council of Economic Advisers puts the ten-year cost of the socialist agenda at $49 trillion, or as much as $400,000 per American household — financed by massive tax hikes that slash wages by nearly 30%, shrink economic output, and drive inflation sky-high. Mortgage rates would soar, millions of jobs would vanish, and productivity would collapse as empty shelves, rationed care, and the slow grind of state control replace the abundance of American exceptionalism.
If today’s Democratic Socialists win, and pass their agenda, it would be illegal to sell or buy private health insurance or a gasoline-powered car or truck, air conditioning and other modern conveniences would be strictly limited, healthcare would be rationed, and euthanasia will be promoted – if not become mandatory – for patients identified by government death panels.
Socialism, Communism and Islamism are sick, perverse systems that have produced misery and death on an incomprehensible scale.
Democrats are deliberately attempting to hasten the destruction of American prosperity, security, and freedom — and if given the chance, they’ll gleefully turn America into a third-world country and continent-wide prison camp.
This midterm election is unique in modern American politics in that it is the first election where not just Socialist and Communist candidates are on the ballot, but the continuation of our existing constitutional order itself is on the ballot. President Donald J. Trump was counting on you to understand the threat when he said: “America the Beautiful will NEVER be a Communist Country!!!”
