Our online friend Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) Host of YourVoice America, recently made a post to X that pointed out once again, the media headwinds President Trump and Republicans are facing this election.
As Mr. Mitchell implied, these statistics should be front page news every day, but they aren’t, thus, your average American has no idea just how good we have it right now.
Stocks at record highs.
GDP at 5.1%.
Real incomes at record highs.
Poverty at record lows.
Food inflation below 20-year average.
Factories at 82% capacity.
Standard of living best ever.
Crime at record lows.
Trump approval on the economy - record lows.
What am I missing?
But that should not really surprise us, because convincing Americans that free market capitalism and America’s mostly open economy produce unfairness and “inequality” are essential elements of the Left’s long-term demoralization campaign to undermine America as a constitutional republic and their current information warfare campaign against President Trump.
Almost everything happening today can be explained by this 1984 video.
This interview with KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov, conducted by G. Edward Griffin, has guided our thinking for years as it explains that there’s a long-term plan by the left to dismantle Western Civilization through psyops, “demoralization, and a great brainwashing.”
As Tony Seruga observed, Bezmenov warned about Marxist-Leninist ideological subversion as a long-term psychological operation to undermine America and the West from within, destroying its system and way of life without conventional war.
It lumps together unrelated issues (critical race theory, minority suffering, gender confusion, etc.) into an "incoherent but workable" coalition.
Tony Seruga suggests we're currently in the demoralization and crisis phases of Bezmenov's four stages of ideological subversion:
Demoralization
Destabilization
Crisis
Normalization.
The real goal, observed Mr. Seruga, is to destroy targeted people (especially the middle class) physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—while pretending to help them.
It is worth noting the similarities between the plan to undermine the United States from within Mr. Seruga has outlined based on Bezmenov's four stages of ideological subversion and the plan, set forth in the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Explanatory Memorandum,” for the undermining and destruction of the United States from within.
Clearly, Marxists and Muslims work together so well because they share the same goal and have adopted similar means to accomplish it.
What Yuri Bezmenov told G. Edward Griffin can be boiled down to one sentence applicable to our situation today: The real war the Marxists and Sharia-supremacists Muslims are waging against us has almost nothing to do violent revolution and jihad of the sword.
It is a psychological war, slow, patient—the “ideological subversion.” According to Bezmenov, the most important work of the Soviet intelligence services was not to steal secrets. But to alter an entire people’s perception of reality, to the point that it could no longer, even in the face of facts, defend its own survival.
Muslims and Marxists are already in the Destabilization phase, where they attack the foundations of Western Civilization: the economy, authority, social relations, national defense, all through “through jihad of the word.”
So, the next time you hear Democrats (or their Muslim allies) talk about the “affordability crisis” be aware and tell your friends that:
- The Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, has fallen consistently for six months.
- Current Core CPI figures have reached their lowest point since 2021.
- Income growth is currently outpacing the rate of inflation in both energy and food sectors.
- The job market is described as being among the best in many people’s lives.
- The Federal Reserve just quietly admitted that Biden’s illegal alien invasion SURGED home prices by an insane 30%, directly destroying housing affordability for hardworking American citizens.
- Through TrumpRX Americans just witnessed the largest pharma price drop in 63 years, 90% of all the branded drug products sold in America are now under most favored nation drug prices.
The problem President Trump and we conservative face today is how far down the road to demoralization American voters at large have traveled. The establishment news media, in collusion with Democrats and their Marxist and Muslim allies, have pushed millions of Americans to the point of demoralization that they really don’t believe favorable news even when confronted with the facts.
Calling “affordability” a fake made-up term isn’t going to cut it, because millions of Americans are so far down the demoralization road they believe Donald Trump and the Republicans are at fault for the affordability crisis, even though Trump and Republicans can prove that Biden's record-breaking inflation, immigration policies that drove up housing prices and regulations that drove up energy prices are responsible.
The only answer for President Trump and the Republicans is to make the 2026 campaign about the future, by comparing and contrasting the quality-of-life Americans will enjoy through their vision of the future with the economic, social and cultural wasteland promised by Democrats and their Muslim and Marxist allies.
