Thou shalt not kill.
That is one of God’s laws governing people, and it of course comes from the Ten Commandments.
God’s laws and Judeo-Christian values influenced Anglo-American laws.
Magna Carta, celebrated as one of the most important documents of liberty, was man-made law over and restricting government, made “in the presence of God, and for the salvation of our own soul, and of the souls of our ancestors, and of our successors ….”
The English common law formed the bases of colonial and early American law.
The Declaration of Independence states the great self-evident truth that all men are created equal.

Those are Judeo-Christian values, and they are at the foundations of the American rule of law.
The Constitution is law structuring and governing government in ways to help protect those rights from government power and abuses – reflecting the Judeo-Christian truth that men are not angels, so government power in the hands of men must be limited and governed.
Limited government under our constitutional republican form of government based on consent of the governed is what best protects freedom, and is what enables American exceptionalism.
Unlike what Senator Tim Kaine (Democrat from Virginia and Hillary Clinton’s running mate) said recently, the American system of law is not like a Sharia system of law. See, Richard A. Viguerie’s “My Letter To Democrat Tim Kaine Educating Him On Where Our Rights Come From.”
As stated at Human Events quoting Charlie Kirk, “Government does not make your rights ... Government can only respect them or violate them [which] makes our country unique.”
Americans as a general rule understand these basic foundations of the American rule of law that make America unique and provide the bases of our exceptionalism.
Charlie Kirk articulated brilliantly what most Americans understand, which is that undermining our Judeo-Christian values and the Anglo-American rule of law would fundamentally alter America’s unique system enabling our freedom and exceptionalism.
As demonstrated by the brazen response on social media to the murder of Charlie Kirk, the Democrat Party is now the home of people who publicly cheer Americans being assassinated.
(Some wise people on X wonder how many Democrat leaders privately cheer the assassination of Charlie Kirk.)
The Democrat Party is now the home of people who despise the Judeo-Christian values underlying the American rule of law.
The Democrat Party is now the home of political leaders who equate Sharia law to the foundations of the American rule of law over and governing government itself.
The Democrat Party is now the home of science deniers, and those who wish to censor others who wish to debate and challenge assumptions.
The Democrat Party is now the home of “news media” personalities who, instead of reporting news, wish to trigger their Democrat viewers who have mental illnesses and are susceptible to the propaganda that conservatives are Nazis.
Social media has exposed Democrats who believe it’s appropriate to kill Americans who the fake news media and Democrat politicians call Nazis.
While the Democrat Party has had members who are progressive, libertarian America lovers, it is losing many of them (Professor Alan Dershowitz is a recent example), making larger the percentage of its members who are America haters.
The Democrat Party is the home of those who support assassinating Americans, who believe Shariah law is equivalent to our constitutional republican rule of law, and who believe our underlying Judeo-Christian values are evil or violence themselves.
The Democrat Party has an America problem, which we conservatives knew, but has been highlighted exponentially by the blood-lust response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
