The Democrats’ Muslim Michigan U.S. Senate candidate’s rampant anti-Semitism finally forced his primary opponent, Democrat Representative Haley Stevens, to endorse Republican Mike Rogers for the seat often touted as the key to Republican hopes to maintain their Senate majority.
Meanwhile, and a continent away, Democrat hopes to defeat Alaska’s Republican Senator Dan Sullivan, with a ghost candidate with the same name were dealt a blow when a federal investigation and the New York Times turned up felony level conducted by Democrats, including their Senate candidate Mary Peltola, whose team induced the ghost candidate to run.
In Michigan, Congresswoman Stevens stunned Democratic party officials Sunday by endorsing Republican Mike Rogers as Democratic tensions boiled over days before the election that could determine the balance of power on Capitol Hill.
Stevens endorsed Rogers after attending a Detroit church service with him. The remarkable show of support for the President Donald Trump-backed candidate in the tightly contested race comes after she was uninvited to a joint event the same day with El-Sayed, who defeated the congresswoman by a slim margin in the August primary.
“Our Democratic nominee for Senate said I was no longer welcome in his campaign and that I should stay away," Stevens said in a video announcing the endorsement, which led her top aide to quit. “And he's right. And that's why I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.”
The Associated Press reported Stevens and El-Sayed were originally scheduled to attend church together, along with other Michigan and national Democrats, including South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn. Democrats hoped it would be a show of unity as they worked to boost El-Sayed’s flagging support among Black and Jewish voters in the Detroit area, where concerns have lingered about his anti-Semitic and anti-Christian statements and associations.
Last week Stevens’ fiancé told The Detroit News that he would vote for Rogers. Stevens later appeared on CNN to reaffirm her support for El-Sayed but urged his campaign to “shut out the hate and call it out.”
But on Friday, after The Associated Press reported on the planned joint appearance, Stevens released a lengthy statement calling on El-Sayed to condemn an ad by an independent left-wing group that linked U.S. support for Israel to high grocery prices.
“Abdul promises to get money out of politics,” Stevens wrote. “He can begin by getting Israel out of his explanation for everything Michigan cannot afford.”
The New York Times has now reported that Democrat Senate candidate Mary Peltola and the Senate’s Democrat Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's group spent months gaming Alaska's Ranked Choice Voting ballot to plant people like the ghost candidate Dan Sullivan on the ballot to help Peltola in the Senate race.
It turns out they combed the voter rolls to find a "Dan Sullivan" to be a ballot spoiler in Alaska’s weird ranked choice election system. All confirmed by internal texts, documents, and Peltola's own former campaign manager Elisa Rios. According to Ms. Rios:
- Peltola aides ordered a staffer in summer 2025 to comb Alaska voter rolls for "as many people named Dan Sullivan" as possible
- Operatives ran a secret "ballot composition project" with Peltola campaign lawyers and senior DSCC aides in Washington
- A Midwest operative using a fake name traveled to remote Alaskan towns to recruit retired teacher Dan J. Sullivan and contractor Gerald Heikes as spoilers
- Peltola’s former campaign manager, Elisa Rios, confirmed on the record that Peltola was "definitely aware" of the scheme
As The New York Times reported, the Peltola campaign claims it had no involvement in recruiting "Dan J. Sullivan"; however, documents suggest the campaign was actively involved and that the operation was "much broader."
"The endeavor, which was internally called the ballot composition project, involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs," the NYT reported.
President Trump's DOJ was 100% vindicated for suing to stop this, although the judge has apparently dismissed the initial complaint on several procedural grounds.
And there’s more.
Mr. Hartline has several great data dumps on the ghost candidate Daniel J Sullivan including this lovely family profile of the Far-Left activist clan:
[Ghost candidate Daniel J Sullivan’s] Democrat extremist federal government employee wife, Karen Dillman, is a long-time donor to Mary Peltola's campaigns… Your wife donated to Mary Peltola's congressional campaign in 2022 and, just recently on August 19, 2026, she contributed $50 to Peltola's senate campaign.
This is in addition to her lovey dovey donations to Bernie Sanders and relentless campaign contributions to the Democratic Party.
Mr. Fake Alaska Senate Candidate Daniel J. Sullivan, could you explain why you didn't disclose to the public or voters that your Democratic Party extremist son, Noah Sullivan, is a current employed congressional staffer for Democrat Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp-Perez?
And why you didn't disclose that your son is a long-time donor to the Democratic Party, having most recently contributed to Communist Democrat Islamist Abdul El-Sayed? And why didn't you disclose that your son has been doing the dirty for years with a whole host of Congressional Democrats including crooked Democrat senator Mark Kelly?
Now that Democrats got caught red-handed rigging Alaska's ballot, because they know Far-Left Democrat Mary Peltola can't beat Republican Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, the ghost Daniel J Sullivan has disappeared… literally.
Neighbors report he booked it out of his home in the little town of Petersburg, Alaska a few days before the story broke and hasn’t been seen since.
And it gets better; ghost candidate Daniel J. Sullivan now refuses to answer questions under oath as the Department of Justice and state authorities have issued dozens of subpoenas in an expanding criminal probe of the ballot-stacking scheme.
Alaska is expected to be one of the closest elections this cycle, and as of now, Peltola is the only Democrat, while there are two Dan Sullivans and another fake Republican named Gerald Heikes, who was also allegedly recruited to take votes from Senator Sullivan. The New York Times reports that they have evidence from 12 people who participated in the plot.
The Mary Peltola-Chuck Schumer ghost candidate scheme shows just how desperate Democrats are to regain power. They say out loud they plan to defeat Republicans and Donald Trump “by any means necessary,” meaning they will break any law or “norm” that stands in their way, and then tell you they are defending democracy.
Don’t let them get away with it, vote straight Republican tomorrow, November 3, 2026.
